custom winning gear.

I am thinking of getting a pair of their air mitts but I haven't heard much about them

Okay, I'm pretty set with getting a pair of 12 oz gloves for bag/mitt work. Based on my size, should I be getting the 16oz or 18oz for sparring though? And has anyone here ever seen a pair of 18oz from winning? I would imagige that they might look like pillows taped to your hands haha. I just want to know if the 18oz are overkill or not since I'm at a cruiserweight weight class.

Cheers

They do not look like pillows. But yes, you do not need them at all. 16 oz. are more than enough for you.

These 16 oz. Winning gloves from this shop are the best choice for you.

And here are 12 oz. velcro:

For those who have ordered off rakuten, how long did it take to receive a confirmation email of shipping charges? I requested a change from the order I initially made, so I'm just waiting to hear back. My credit card hasn't been charged yet.

It depends on what did you order. In general it takes few days. Then you get an email asking to confirm the shipping cost, once you confirm it your card will be charged and your gear will arrive in a couple of days.

Just some red ms-600s. I got them in Velcro initially but emailed them to switch it to lace-ups. I was just a little worried that I hadn't heard back in regards to my request yet, but it has only been one business day I think so probably not a big deal.

They are closed on Monday. Do not worry, everything will be fine.

ideal for gentleman boxers who want to look elegant in the ring? lol

lol that's fantastic!
I am curious who created this web... Considering the pictures he knows this forum.
I obviously know who started the FB page, but have no idea who is this Romanian "gentleman in the ring" :)

Long term lurker but first time poster here...ordered red MS600s from Rakuten (standard, no customisation) on 10th April and had them in hand for sparring on 15th April (shipping to UK) so wouldn't worry about ordering through Steve / America-Ya :icon_chee

Will definitely be looking at getting some custom gloves after looking through this forum though - they just look so damn good!!!

The gloves seem to be enamel black

Just got my shipping confirmation letter today, package should arrive this week.

I think you will not find a better deal that Rakuten...
Then you should take a look on ebay...

I was wondering, if i order Winning gloves at rakuten and ask for a name printing, how much time it will take? As a custom color (4weeks) or as a standar color?

thanks

America-Ya has the cheapest prices in Japan.

Name printing should not take weeks, more likely about a week.
Steve from rakuten has become a bit arogant and shows some lack of response, though you can order the gloves and accent in the comment (you have this option during placing the order) you want them only if they are ready to ship (with the printing) in one week (an exemple), otherwise you want them to cancel your order.
To be honest it is better than awaiting King Mitani's response.

How well do the 14 oz. gloves do when sparring? I can't decide if I should just go with 16 oz. gloves

Unless you are Klitschko 14 oz. Winning are fine.

An important point is whether your trainer will allow you using 14 oz. for sparring. Some trainers insist on 16 oz. regardless what brand/quality they are (despite 14 oz. Winning are more protective than the very most of 18 oz.).
