What do you guys think of the leather you get on custom Winnings vs the standard material?
I'm probably going to get a fg2900 and for $50 i can get it in real leather and in a pimpin' color scheme :wink:
 
In case of a headgear I see no benefit of getting a real leather.

Lol I agree! I bought my first two pairs of Winning's from Winning-USA.
I'm buying a gold set at the end of the month when I have everything settled in my new apartment. I'm freaking pumped haha

Just found these up on ebay from the UK, kinda pricey, but looks nice. The guy has a photobucket account with pictures more pics. I know I'm not planning to use my FG-5000 as much nowdays since my FG-2900 came in, but I'm not selling it after shelling out all that cash, I'm just going to rotate it and use it if I get injured or something.





 
That green is like a light green with teal or something and looks nice.
 
Question to those that have replaced the laces on their Winning gear: Did you purchase specific types of laces, and where did you purchase them from?

I own a used Fg2900 with ratty laces that I want to swap out for something more fun (and clean for that matter). I plan to do the same when I pick up a pair of gloves.
 
I brought flat laces for a cent at champs. But that's because the bag was already open.

So, flat laces work good for me and my headgear. I kind of like it better than the stock laces
 
Wow, the gloves and the cup sold super fast, don't see the headgear being up for long since he has best offer.
 
The last few sets of Winning gear i've seen on ebay uk has gone very very quickly - would seem that people are happy to pay over the odds as well (maybe they don't know about rakuten?!)

Deathstriker - do you know what the kanji on the gear means? Not buying but just curious
