custom winning gear.

Thanks for the comments, guys :)

The kanji is actually my last name, Hayashi. It's fortunate that I have a Japanese last name, it looks cool on my Winning gear :icon_lol:

Badass! If I decide to get custom Winnings gloves one day, I'm going to have to top everyone haha.

Same last name as Kazumichi huh? Maybe you can take over as the new Winning rep!

This thread has been pure win(ning) so far, I can see more people jumping in with more cool designs too (yourself included). Can't wait!

I know for sure that I want gloves to match my Fg5000 so it will be gold and red. Was thinking of a groin belt (they make split color customs now), but when I box, kickboxing follows so I don't quite need it.

I'll probably design some kind of logo if I can think of something. Screen printing or embroidery, I dunno yet,

When I ordered my headgear the print was free and the embroidery was extra. It was a few years ago.

Whoever discovered "Rakuten" should be highly praised. :)
haha I wonder who will go through winning-usa for winning gear.

i want to order a regular fg5000 with my name on it from rakuten. does anyone know if that's possible? i'm not looking for a custom color one. i dont see the option just for name printing. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Place an order for the FG-5000 and check out. Somewhere in the checkout process is a comments section. In that box tell them what you want printed, what color, bold italics, etc. Better yet, if you want a specific type of font, you can type it in the font you want and email it to Steve to get it printed on. Steve will contact you for any questions.

thank you very much for the help!

another question, is steve the only person on rakuten that's selling winning? I'm still trying to figure out if rakuten only allow one seller that sells a specific item. or is it like ebay or amazon?

The whole Rakuten site looks like a amazon kind of place. If you search for other Winning gear Steve seems to be the only one selling. Which isnt a bad thing, he has good prices and easy to deal(Especially compared to Winning USA)

I ain't sure if Steve is the only person selling Winning gears but i found another listing of fg-2900 and fg-5000 headgear at different price, almost same as winning-usa while Steve's listing is 16% off discount but those could be old listings thought.

No, Steve is for sure not the only person selling Winning gear. Actually on JPN rakuten (I mean the JPN not the international version) there is a lot of them, but Steve's prices are the cheapest anyway, moreover the others usually do not ship abroad.
This is the reason why I ordered from Steve and everybody else too...

Damn, so much nice color schemes... I wish I could get mine already

Too bad I ordered 12 oz Top Kings instead of saving up

Does anybody know how long the metallic colors from winning start to fade?

I wasn't a member on this site until today. But I got a lot of great info on this thread about custom winning gear and I just received my order so I thought I'd join the community and share pictures of my new gear.

On an unrelated note, I noticed there were several questions earlier in the thread about how long it took Rakuten to charge your credit card ... for me, they took quite a while (even after I had confirmed my order). I can't remember exactly how long but maybe even a couple of weeks.

Since I had custom embroidery done with a custom logo, it did take quite some back and forth to get everything just right. Even then, I had hoped the clover would have been a bit smaller. But I can't fault Winning for this. They did an amazing job all things considered.

To get this all done I used some crude photo editing for parts of it and then just described in words what I could edit into the pic. Below is the image I sent them compared to what I got sent in return.

That blue and gold are beautiful. Real leather? If so, what type? The color just looks so amazing. Does not look dyed like others.

Were the idea for the color scheme for the fighting irish theme for the gear for notre dame or for tipperary's colors?
