custom winning gear.

I am glad you like it, I will keep on digging :icon_lol: It's difficult to find anything about manufacturing of Winning, but I believe in success...

Anyway... This way look baby pink Winning

And here is a nice picture of amateur type Winning... and actually the picture is nice in general...

And a again a nice picture. Of a headgear. I am not absolutely sure which, but to me it looks like a huge H1600 on the small pretty head :)

Also found something on the JPN web... We might expect Mexican style fight gloves made by Winning in future. It's one of their goals.
Also (just a curiosity) Winning claim their gloves were used in Ali vs. Bugner fight in Kuala Lumpur.

Interesting info you found. Thanks again.

My favorite pic so far.

If you go to the custom glove Rakuen link, you'll see how you can customize the colors on each part.

Great find mate! Thanks!

Guys, have a look here! A real hardcore for any Winning custom colours whore:icon_lol:

How did they get winning to take off their own logo on the glove? How much extra would it be? Like on the earlier photos of the Japanese brothers, they didn't have the winning logo on the glove, and it can't be a japan thing cause Miguel Cotto doesn't have the logo on his winning gloves, he has the Miguel Cotto promotions decal on it.

Why not? It's a business in the end. If Winning company gets a good deal, why not to be more "flexible" in treating their partners requests?

I like the logos simplicity, but is this a free charge? I contacted Winning about the leather buckle strap on the headgear he said its NO charge. But takes 2-3 weeks

Probably everybody has already seen them, but few pictures from the factory anyway

Man that's a sweet factory

Yeah, it looks pretty decent. Looks like an adequate place for manufacturing high quality gear. (at least for me) Much more impressive than what the Cleto Reyes factory video I saw on youtube shows.

You don't buy this colour, you earn it. Buy the gold and then spend the next 5 years making it into brown.

I would get it gold and earn the colour but my gym is a poor gym. I've been in and out of the gym for almost a year now, so just walking in with gold $455 winnings while everyone else trains with $50 Everlast and some 7 year old Reyes and 5 year old imfs for sparring. would be like a slap to the face.

Same, cept with a twins/fairtex mix, but I still rock Winnings. When I first took them to sparring, the coaches were in awe, but as time went on they got use to it. They comment that my FG5000 is $500 time to time, but I'm use to it.

At my UFC Gym everyone is clueless about gear.

You'll see some mma gloves in boxing classes...

Anyway, I emailed Rakuen to see if I can get non shiny gold for a custom.

Nice, hope to see how they turn out!

Mostly I LOL'ed because the more people talk about UFC, usually the less they know about MMA, despite the UFC being the mecca of MMA. Our MMA classes seem to attract the most "flashy" gear like Hayabusa, whereas straight boxing/kickboxing classes are full of Windy, Twins, Fairtex, Reyes etc.

Most of the time if I go to an MMA gym no one even notices my Winning gear. When I renewed my boxing creds last year, there were about a dozen people at the boxing gym come and ask to try them on lol.

I've got an old Igor Vovchanchyn t-shirt and literally nearly everyone in most gyms asks me who that is lol. Man I'm old.

I was gonna go for the 16oz winnings when i made the thread, but the gloves being so politely pillowy, while my sparring partners are all in old, hard, ringsides and reyes seems like they have an unfair advantage. So i decided to go with reyes for sparring and get a custom facebar instead.

I emailed Kazumichi about all my needs, the leather belt buckle is free, the screen print is indeed $5 for the headgear and cup. I've been torn between a gold headgear or a lime green like canelos (Kazumichi says that color is called Neon Yellow) I'm gonna order the gear early next year and I'll gladly post a review.

Brilliant! Looking forward to it. Good work asking about the leather buckle too, very interesting.

Do you think i should try the buckle strap? Its leather so it would last longer then the clip strap. Also i find myself pulling on the clip strap to tighten it In between rounds. A buckle strap would sit tight. But i don't know.

I think it would be superior in every way except the ability to easily do it up yourself quickly.

A bit like lace-up gloves, if you've got someone there to assist it would be no problem.

It should be easy enough to put on your cup, then put on your headgear and buckle it and then put on your gloves though.

I don't mind the clip but I'm old school so I like buckles and laces lol. :icon_lol:

Kaz says it'll take 2-3 weeks, a custom color takes the same time. Does that mean it'll take 4-6 weeks?
