Just took the rest of those quizzes on coinbase to get another free $24 in crypto across a bunch of coins. Consolidated it and moved it into XTZ
The quizzes don’t show up for me :( I’m not sure why.

Hey guys, I'm considering investing around 1k into ether. I'm completely new to crypto. I have a good understanding of it, but havent actually purchased any.

Just wondering if theres anything I should consider, like would it be wise to invest into bitcoin instead. or maybe 50/50.

any insight?

I guess it depends on your goals? Are you looking at holding long term?

If your strategy is hodl it, I'd buy ether. You can stake it for ETH 2.0 for some decent APY% without much hassle or risk. I expect a nice bump in price after the change for Proof of Stake is complete.

Unfortunately I won't be getting shit. I could have used that for an xbox series x

I've gotta admit, it's pretty sweet. I saved up for it though and preordered it on day one.

It was NOT easy. Websites were crashing left and right like the S.S. Minnow on Gilligan's island.

I think Power Ledger is a great project having looked into it.
Real world solutions are always a stand out for me.
Price is still low at under $0.30 cents for a 1 billion total supply. Has been up to $2 in the past.

But aside from that as in any area you should consider what are you investing in.
This is about a sustainable solar energy solution which is a good use of the blockchain technology to allow p2p trading of energy.

So individuals and organizations could trade sustainable energy easily.

That is simply a great idea and the fact they are having some big industry movement is a good sign.

If we consider one of the dark sides of crypto is with Bitcoin and POW systems although now becoming redundent as newer cryptos use POS, Bitcoin uses the energy consumption of small countries in mining. This is a horrible outcome environmentally.

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/02/05/bit...rries-about-its-massive-carbon-footprint.html

Whats worse it gets more energy inefficient and power consuming over time as is the nature of pow.

Ethereum is already switching to proof of stake with the much lower energy use.

So what's not to like in an investment for a project like this. Obviously it's going to be a thing only in countries where there is the capacity for solar energy but alot of potential there. Am in with it for sure as a smaller holding.

I was looking for a company developing such a solution before power Ledger started.

In Australia you but from the grid at around 28c but households with solar put into the grid at about 4-7c, clearly an opportunity.

Sadly I was bit early into it, buying some near its peak but I'm still buying. I don't have much skin in the game but its something I want to succeed for environmental reasons and it would be nice to make some dollars in the process.

Thanks for posting with detail.

Uniswap on fire

always bet on VET.

LINK may double this year, but VET will 10x.

I hope it comes to coinbase in their update... If not, is there a U.S. based site, I can look into it at. Binance is just...

Nah mane..

I have their old "ethos" app I want to change to voyager, but I don't want to get all confused shifting my tokens over.

its just about as easy as it can be. Copy the receive code and send away. Takes a few seconds to see it show up.

Well, gang... going to bed. Crossing my fingers that VET is at 30 cents when I wake up.
