Cowboy can't be...

you know he already lost to benson twice, and pettis/nate/alverez once right?

Cowboy lost to Alvarez?

Damn, don't tell the sportsbook I use. I bet on Cowboy and they paid me like he won!

Yup, but...

Cowboy:
  • Ranked #4 (probably #3 tomorrow)
  • 9-2 since Diaz fight
  • 6-fight win streak
  • Company man

Diaz:
  • Ranked #14
  • 2-3 since Cowboy fight
  • Coming off a pitiful loss where he missed weight
  • Belligerent toward the UFC

Cowboy's next fight should be Khabib, winner of RDA v Pettis, or the title shot after Khabib. Cowboy likes to keep busy, though, so maybe give him either Bendo or Barboza if they win their upcoming fights.

Doubt Cowboy fights Barboza again this soon. He could fight Bendo, Gil maybe...not too many options left since Pettis/RDA is booked.

I love this thread. Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

So.. You seem to have forgotten that Cowboy already beat down Alvarez and you think that Diaz and Cowboy won't fight again because they are in the same camp..

This thread is going great for you.

Taxman, please tell me where in this post I said Diaz was a Greg Jackson fighter.

I agree TS, I'm SUPER interested to see how a fight between Cowboy and Eddie Alvarez would go.

C'mon Joe Silva, make it happen! Give us fans what we want!

I meant to say Gilbert Melendez as I get those two guys confused.

Using looks to judge the calibre of a fighter tells me that you shouldn't be too excited about being a fan of MMA TS. Cases in point:

BJ penn, Fedor, Silva, Roy nelson, Sakuraba, Royce gracie, dominic cruz etc etc

He was saying that there are a lot of people in his weight class at his camp which eliminates opponents, supposedly making Nate more of a viable option (in addition to having a win over Cowboy), not that Nate was part of that camp.

Too excited about beating a kid that looks like he is 16 and should cut to 145. I say put Cowboy up against Bendo, Pettis, Eddie Alvarez, or a rematch with Nate Diaz, and see if he can beat these challengers. I am just interested to see if Cowboy has what it takes to become the UFC Lightweight Champ.

You mean this Eddie Alverez?

Lol, wtf is wrong with people wanting top 5 fighters to fight Nate Diaz. Sadists.

Yeah Cowboy should test himself against Alvarez.

I don't even know what to say

literally none of those fights you mentioned would make any sense hahahaha, wouldn't mind seeing cerrone beat the shit out of diaz now though.

True, IMO Jury does look like he is still in High School, and I think he looks like a very small 155 and might benefit to cut to 145, even though that division is loaded with talent.
