Too excited about beating a kid that looks like he is 16 and should cut to 145. I say put Cowboy up against Bendo, Pettis, Eddie Alvarez, or a rematch with Nate Diaz, and see if he can beat these challengers. I am just interested to see if Cowboy has what it takes to become the UFC Lightweight Champ.

He wasn't excited. He actually was very disappointed that people booed during his fight due to Jury's lack of engagement. Another reason that he was a bit verbal was because Jury's disrespected his teammate (Diego Sanchez).

I for one would like to see him fight bendo again. Those were good fights. Bendo was eating up kicks for dinner.

Diaz beat Cowboy first time around, and there are too many Greg Jackson 155ers to hold Cowboy down, but they will not fight because they are in the same camp. Give Cowboy a real opponent instead of a spoon fed guy because Cowboy is popular, but not as Popular as the Nada Surf song popular.

More importantly, why does TS think Cowboy should have to "test" himself against Alvarez again?

So.. You seem to have forgotten that Cowboy already beat down Alvarez and you think that Diaz and Cowboy won't fight again because they are in the same camp..

This thread is going great for you.

Rematch with Diaz who just lost, rematch with Alvarez who he just beat, or even give him a title shot off a win you don't feel was impressive huh?

Genius, he has already fought these guys. So now Myles should cut to 145 because he lost. Eddie Alvarez? What are you smoking? I can tell yo what it takes to become the lightweight champ...you have to go thru Cerrone.

Why would he fight Alvarez again? He just beat him - soundly.

    Yup, but...

    Cowboy:
    • Ranked #4 (probably #3 tomorrow)
    • 9-2 since Diaz fight
    • 6-fight win streak
    • Company man

    Diaz:
    • Ranked #14
    • 2-3 since Cowboy fight
    • Coming off a pitiful loss where he missed weight
    • Belligerent toward the UFC

Cowboy's next fight should be Khabib, winner of RDA v Pettis, or the title shot after Khabib. Cowboy likes to keep busy, though, so maybe give him either Bendo or Barboza if they win their upcoming fights.

I agree TS, I'm SUPER interested to see how a fight between Cowboy and Eddie Alvarez would go.

C'mon Joe Silva, make it happen! Give us fans what we want!

Can post 10mm, Cerrone does not hold the title and he would get raped in the Oklahoma drill in football by unexplosive and unathletic D3 athletes coached by Andy Dick.

That will certainly answer the question if he could be the UFC lightweight Champ.

    Whoop his ass?

It can only be favorable for him to avenge that loss.

I know he lost to Diaz and Benson, but I am tired of this guy parading around like he is JJ Watt or something.
