Bro the ufc is stealing from the fighters more so than the viewers. I listed all the legit reasons for why I wouldn't support them, but reality is I've bought my fair share of ufc ppvs before (not anything after ufc 160 or so but still, they were many). I've been to live events, I've bought merch.

I also stated my threshold, I'd be willing to pay 100 dollars a year for access to rent all their live content. I think that's very reasonable considering my reasons.

I do respect ufc but the ufc doesn't respect its hardcore fans, it takes us for ignorant consumers. You might be one of them, I'm not.

It won't work, people stream these events from other countries besides America and it won't effect torrent either.

Of course. Two different things. But at the end of the day it’s very easy to just say “well I just stumbled upon it I didn’t know it was illegal” it really is impossible to punish the ones that watch the streams or download the torrents.
 
The only problem i have with this is they attached it to the relief bill. There are bigger things to worry about than streaming at the moment.

There's billions of dollars spent on various leftist bullshit in the bill as well.

For example there's:
$10m for gender programs in Pakistan
$130m to give cars for HIV/AIDS workers abroad
As well as an unknown amount of funds for gender inequality in statues, a museum for women, diversity in the intelligence community, etc.

Imagine being roommates with a rapist because you streamed a bootleg UFC event.

Meanwhile violent criminals are being released from prison for Covid concerns. And there are DA's pushing bullshit about not prosecuting other felonies including gun related incidents.

I agree but intent is very different lol. Everyone knows you had to seek it out but you are right the the possibility of doubt is enough to get away with it. It's actually illegal to tape an NFL game and watch it with your friends.

And this is why you have to be VERY CAREFUL about bitching about covid relief bill or something being denied.
THEY TACK ON OTHER SHIT ALL THE TIME. It is not like 1 side wants to give money and the other doesn't... it is like where is the money going to and what else is part of it.
