I love seeing a diversity of incredible talent come together like that...and although I don't know if 'joy' is quite the right word in this case, the Freddie Mercury tribute concert at Wembley in 1992 comes to mind. What an incredible gathering of artists and some great performances.

Apparently an offshoot of an old folk ballad called The Unfortunate Rake, from at least the 1700s.

After I posted that above I did some detective work out of curiosity, yep you nailed it. Jimmie Rodgers does a great version of that song.
