Could Karate Combat overtake the UFC in popularity?

Personally I prefer ONE events, they mix up the disciplines really well on a card and who doesn't love Muay Thai with the small gloves!

It's just kick boxing with some ground n pound in a weird looking setting, by washed fighters. Not a fucking chance. Glory and K1 didn't even come close
Yeah.. Aghaev vs Daniels sucked bad. Way too old, both of them.

They can learn to broadcast a fight properly first.

Are we supposed to watch them fight from a helicopter distance half of the time???

Sure, just like SF, Bellator, PFL, BKFC, X Arm, powerslap and whatever else is gonna overtake the UFC.

The answer is there is more of a chance of me winning the next mega millions and powerball in the same week than there is of this happening.

How about KC or BKFC just carve out their own niche and be their own thing and be profitable and have some fans and survive?

CBS is broadcasting it. Isnt that a huge deal?

If things are really on the rocks with the UFC, Poatan would dominate there.

I like Karate Combat. It just needs to have some prime top fighters. All the big names I have seen are guys well past their prime. Also probably needs some mild rules adjustments. Too many breaks in action.

Its CBS SPorts network not network tv CBS and I dont think I've ever come across it. So no its not a big deal at all. CBS Sports is what Bellator landed on after Spike I believe and they were dead in the water on there until moving to Showtime.

they should change the shit name to have any chance. Most people there probably arent karate right...

A garbage name will hold back a decent promotion. Just look at what happened to bellator. People urged them to change their shit name for years and they stuck to their stubborn guns and now they don't exist.. shudda listened

No fence wrestling. Less risk of a stalemate, although that is rarely a problem.
Just less grappling period. Only 5 seconds allowed after a fighter is grounded. People like stand up action, it's generally more fun to watch than a grapplefest.

Once Jones retires here shortly he can just hand Alvey the belt

Then finally Tom Aspinall will have an opponent
