Yeah it doesn't matter to me how much they get paid. The only difference it makes for me is seeing big names show up. But I still stand by the notion that these guys aren't winning by doing it how they are these days. The UFC doesn't have to pay them if they turn down every fight.

We don't know how their contracts are. If he turned down the fight he must have his reasons. He is not worried about money, he has a good life already outside the fighting market. He wants to be respected and well-paid, he is right in my eyes. If every fighter do the same, Dana and his antics against fighters will end forever. Or do you like fights being announced without contracts signed to strongarm fighters to accept? I don't like that practice at all, I even think that practice should be sanctioned by strong laws against the company tbh.
