Trump's blame is failing to actually do what he said he would do: protect us from foreign threat crossing border. Why the hell was this guy telling people a month ago that this whole thing was a hoax? He didn't' do shit because he didn't want to upset his markets (which are now toast anyways). Mr. Border protection let an actual threat (not illegal laborers) cross over and kill people. You guys were too distracted by Mexicans to see a real threat. As dear leader would say, SAD!

we can handle the death counts, if it were spread apart, but it's mostly in New york, which makes it problematic. interesting that the numbers are wildly off compared to worldometer numbers, which show 530 deaths the 28 followed by a decline to 363 on the 29th, and back to 545 for today. Reassess the numbers in a few days.

Or, ya know, they're testing more and more people, and getting a grasp on what they're dealing with.

It would be better if they weren't testing though, right? Reports of 50 cases all month long, that way.
 
The mark of a true leader is when they have the guts to brag about their TV ratings during a public health crisis.

That's nice, but I don't watch FOX News and make fun of them all the time. That's the difference between you and me. I can actually recognize worthless media. I'm not here posting Breitbart articles, and then telling you to stick to "The Week" articles when called out, as if I'm in a superior position.

You only recognize one side of the spectrum's media as being heavily biased and not reliable at all. I recognize all sides, because quite frankly, I'm smarter and less tribal than you.

He's not going to be bragging when he rolls out of bed one morning in next few weeks and feels achy and starts running a 102 temp... god forbid that day comes for him but for many of us, especially the elderly (who overwhelmingly love him) and healthcare workers, that day is coming and it's coming soon.

The man is mentally ill and unfit to be holding that office.

I saw a tweet last night that couldn't have been more true "a person's first job in government should be president of the United States".
 
 
I hear internally around both Republicans and Democrats that 1200 dollars is not nearly enough and even 600 dollars to unemployed may need to change depending on income. They are also working on helping self employed and even small landlords. The stimulus according to them as written does not go far enough since the timeline has been extended.

We are approaching an emperor has no clothes moment. This government is functioning in spite of him. It is a testament to the greatness of America, that is the irony of it. You could excise him from the whole equation and nothing would be different.

There will be more bills that get passed. That was a "best case scenario" bill.

Look at it this way, the government does not want an angry mob on their hands that they can't possibly control. The longer it goes, the more money will be handed out. What people should be looking at, is when the dollar will start to drop. Then it will officially be panic time.

They need to freeze the banking system. Everyone needs this money to pay the banker. The banker can temporarily go fuck himself.
 
Every Trumpers dream...a melding of them, and HIM. I feel like this is how he sees himself while handling the crisis. I don't know why.
