What would even be the definition of out of control? Or better yet, what would be considered contained close to air-tight? I would think air-tight containment would mean a control of the spread approaching a decrease in cases. Do you think that's what's happening? This was said over two weeks ago. I know all that info. I'm actually not on the panic mode side. And I still know saying it's contained that early was a huge mistake. I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump making a major shift soon, including declaring a national emergency.

Also, why would you not care about the infection rate when it would drastically impact the economy?

it's a conflicting message for sure

there's nothing to suggest that it's NOT contained or problematic. We're nowhere close to pandemic numbers, the only thing different about this virus is that there isnt a vaccine.

I'm expecting to see overcrowded hospitals, running out of rooms, an increase in xrays performed, this would be solid data. We dont test for the flu, but in a bad season, all of those occur. I dont see any data to suggest otherwise, and the lack of tests...... what does that even mean on a practical level? You can diagnose these issues in the hospital, and I'm not seeing any data that suggests this is occuring.

I'm more interested in facts than reaction at this point. An overreaction of the stock market is correlation, not causation.
