I posted about Tedros and his scummy ties with big business and big oil nearly a month ago and to take nothing he says seriously. People ignored my post but I showed stories in the past that pointed out how he is upending the UN from the inside. He was appointed mostly by votes from Russia, China and his home country pushing for him hard. He has a history of downplaying pollution by Countries, global environmental issues such as melting of arctic ice. Now he is in deep with misinformation about China's ties to the spread of the virus.

Mike Pence got called out by President Trump for talking for 5 mins and not answering the question. Seriously I can tell the friction between the two of them is increasing by a lot. The issue is President Trump cannot fire Mike and the two of them have been at odds big time over who is running the virus outbreak. Not them but people like Jarad, Dr Fauci, Dr Birx and others. Where do they sit in the decisions being made and I think Mike is tired of taking it in the chin. Trump directs the question to Mike then he has to make up a BS story then President Trump throws him under the bus. Trump looks great and Mike looks like a bad guy. Great political maneuver by the President and looks like he is the defender of the people. Especially after Fox setup a situation where Trump again looks like he's for medicare for all.

Mostly the fact we stopped plowing billions into medical research. We prefer plowing billions and billions into aircraft carriers and fighter jets that are already obsolete before they get used. So a microbe can takedown our entire infrastructure and economy. Oh and making immigration hard many doctors are avoiding the efforts to move to the US.

I'd like to add that Trump has also basically just furthered the standard Republican agenda that has savaged the US government since Reagan: strangle our public institutions, under-fund them, sabotage them and when they fail, use that as a sign that they were right - our government sucks. Modern Republicanism has effectively created the problem, uses the problem as justification and then mocks it. It's disgusting.
