Yeah we bankrupted our country and sold out an entire generation of young Americans- all because a couple thousand people died in NYC, a far left liberal Democrat shithole.

It's crazy to watch the GOP, the party that was sure Obama was going to kill your grandma in 2010, basically urging their main voting base to kill themselves. Pack those churches, and if you need to die to ensure the "way of life" for younger people, do it!!

Their base is older christians, and they're on television calling for a can-do attitude in the face of death like it's fuckin' D-Day or something.

Cuomo should have acted a bit earlier in some respects but he started taking it seriously long before Trump , hell with his bizarre intention to call the pandemic off for Easter it appears Trump still doesn't get how bad this is .

States are suppose to address the situation before the president, his fault for failing.

Lol okay , so the federal government couldn't have done any better than they did ?

You do acknowledge that there are things that a federal government can control that a state or provincial government cannot right ?

Have any of you scaredy cats reconsidered the wisdom in destroying the worlds economy yet, that will lead to hundreds of millions dead, and fortfeiting our Bill of Rights, which will leave our children f*cked, all to save a few hundred thousand mostly sick and old people? Or are we all still pretending this isnt the most retarded shit any of us have ever witnessed?

I live in Cali, and we’re beating the virus, our governor, a Democrat handled the situation. New York didn’t. We don’t have issues with beds or ventilators because our Governor was prepared

It's pretty dumb to think that the economy could sustain itself with tens of millions of workers hacking up lungs for months on end and 1-2% of them actually dying. It's fucking retarded to think businesses or schools would have remained open throughout this pandemic.

    "Our children fucked"

Yeah, our children are fucked alright. A 17 year old boy just died on Wednesday from Covid-19.

    Fuck you, asshole.

Sounds quite heartless coming from a born again christian. Why would you suggest that elderly people are not worth saving? You should show this thread to any of your surviving elderly relatives

Leaving individual states to lead the way is and was the problem, there was little to no leadership from Washington , Trump's messaging was awful , he downplayed the severity , called it a hoax, put Mike fecking Pence in charge , said it was almost over six weeks ago and now he is wanting things back to normal by easter lol.

The Trump admins response to this crisis has been a slow motion train wreck , it isn't really arguable .
