Yes they believe in that stuff blindly.
We have an extremely religious country and you say people don’t follow stuff blindly.
That wasn't really what I was talking about. I was just acknowledging that Americans don't just fall in line with whatever the authorities tell them to do. Part of that is that they are extremely splintered on which voices or authorities are to be trusted, which comes with its negatives, sure... but it has some very clear and undeniable up sides, as well... and is a pretty big part of why America remains a powerhouse of innovation in all fields, from art, to entertainment, to science, to business, to philosophy, to politics.
I'm not a blind supporter of America and American influence. I wouldn't even consider leaving Canada to live in the US. But I'm also not inclined to shit on the US the way so many people are.
Maybe, but your outlook is.
And like most Americans: Out of my cold dead hands.
It's so fucking hilarious that you think this is an election year hoax.
You're completely deranged finding outrage at everything due to your raging TDS. You have a TDS fever of 103.5.Since you guys aren't on topic, would you care to take a crack at defending the Trump admin on what I brought in post #102?
Seems like all the Trump side has to offer is bitching complaints about how everyone thinks they're better than you..........

Did he really say that? Context? I don't know, just asking for a friend.Last month Trump said “Does anybody die from the flu? I didn’t know people died from the flu.”
He must have forgotten that his grandfather died in the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic.

The one saving grace is that we get to watch you here when he wins again and you criticize his every move for another 5 years.
That's my crack at post #102, Chief. How'd I do?

...Comparatively Trump has handled this whole thing very well...
Except that he said some really stupid shit until one day last month when he suddenly started taking it seriously. This is what he said on March 6, when he was still trying to downplay it: “Does anybody die from the flu? I didn’t know people died from the flu.”
There are many more quotes from him like this one. Let me know if you have forgotten them and want a reminder. I'd be happy to refresh your memory. Trump supporters are trying to rewrite history by pretending that he was on top of this all along.
Better isn't the right word.
Smarter is such a much better and accurate word.
Comparatively Trump has handled this whole thing very well.
But bitch and moan on the internet all day and I'm sure things will improve![]()
"He said some really stupid shit."
Oh no!
Sorry I'll take the bottom line over you're opinion over who said what and what is stupid or not.

So your opinion is that it was ok for Trump to be downplaying the pandemic in March? "My opinion" is that he either lied or he's mentally unfit, because he said that in spite of the fact that his grandfather died of the Spanish Flu. That's ok with you too?
What is this "bottom line" you speak of? You have some way of excusing Trump's mishandling of this? I can't wait to hear it.
Just accept it, he's a bumbling idiot who still can't stop treating his daily updates like campaign rallies. His insecurity is immense, his incompetence is overwhelming. He's been a disaster with this, as he has for most things. You don't have to defend everything he does and says, it's ok to acknowledge that he's a fool. It would make you look more logical and reasonable, tbh.
Words are words are words.......I prefer the bottom line. And the bottom line is that we're doing well above average from a case to death ratio.
I don't defend everything he says or does, because there isn't a need to. Many people, myself included, don't like his personality. But personality is a far and away forgetful trait when it comes to a president to me. He was done GREAT as far as this virus is concerned, among other things.
It's ok to acknowledge that he's a great president, you might appear a little more logical and reasonable.

The numbers don't lie.
So I'm sorry you don't like his words, but words mean nothing compared to action.
