When the guidelines set forth by the scientific experts involved coalesces with the data to show sufficient reduction in the curve, and when the risk can be mitigated with proper levels of testing, and the public's risk of an un-needed swell isn't dangerous. I think that's a far more intelligent approach than "You guys don't believe any of this, right?!?! It's just da flooo!!" which contains no coherent alternative response, save the wholesale rejection of said scientific experts.

And if you'd like to dodge that one, yet again, we can go to other factors of the government response that you've not deigned to take a crack at, like the Bright whistleblower complaint, the Air Bridge corruption, federal theft of medical supplies bought by states and hospitals, reports of the Trump admin refusing an order early on in the pandemic for millions of masks, or any of the other countless cases of the federal government's inept failures.

I'm fine, health-wise. Then again, the world doesn't revolve around me, so I'd rather not give a virus I can't detect myself to other people, like my elderly mother I visit and see on nearly a daily basis, or my elderly uncle I see at nearly the same frequency.

So many people are used to being cunts, they just don't know how to deal with being decent in times like this, settling for hyena-like idiocy.

Sometime after proper testing is actually widely available, and there is some sort of treatment that effectively mitigates risk. It's a rather nebulous metric, given I'm not a medical health professional, but it's a damn sight better than your position, which factors in zero information or rationale whatsoever, save rank ignorance, willfully pressed forth.

Would you care to address the info I provided yet again, with any sort of rationale whatsoever, or would you care to address any of the factors regarding the Trump admin's failures in response? You know, the topic of the thread?

Here is what screwing up from day one looks like. Here is an Obama admin official who helped manage pandemic response forthe Obama admin, someone who details how they briefed the incoming admin and gave them what they needed to know, only for the Trump admin to systematically erase key positions that directly correspond with pandemic preparedness.

So we quarantine the most vulnerable, and in the meantime let everyone else get back to business. I understand the spread risk, but the fact of the matter is, most people can handle this virus with no problem. We can't bubble wrap the world forever, and unless some miracle vaccine comes along that completely eliminates the virus(not happening), we're just going to have to eventually deal with it anyways. That band aid is coming off sooner or later, and it will never be the perfect risk free time to get back to normal, so what is everyone waiting for? For half the population to go homeless? Is that when we go "Maybe we've done more damage than the virus ever could?"
