But the things they did you'd be calling communism like isolation, tracing, wearing a mask so then how do you suggest we handle it with minimal loss of life? They didn't shut down the whole economy but they did have very strict isolation for those who were at risk or infected.

I don't think there is any easy way out because Americans will call any kind of rule communism and therefore it will only prolong this thing. Americans just don't like rules even if it benefits society as a whole.

We needed fast testing early and competent leadership. Not someone saying it will magically go away when he's been given information in January about the virus
