You ignored my point conveniently, where I said that even the most charitable reading of what he said is absurd. No treatment even remotely similar to what he is proposing has ever been used for any infection.

At best, he was talking out of his ass and went way too far with it, proposing a treatment idea that doesn't exist anywhere, even in research.

It's a common layperson mistake to believe that having disinfectant properties translates into a potential in vivo treatment. But for a president with a cadre of medical advisors around him in the middle of a pandemic, this is a ridiculous kind of error to make.
