Law Coronavirus the US GOV'T Response analysis Thread v2

"Do something like that" =/= "Inject yourself with Lysol"
Try quoting correctly
“And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?"

What he said may be ridiculous but he wasn't suggesting people inject Lysol and you know it. He's saying it'd be nice if there was something that could kill virus in the body. Again, I agree its silly but you guys are taking it a few levels beyond what he meant.
You really don't have to defend this if you don't want to. United States of Freedom...etc...

Ridiculous yes, tellingly studip as well... can you at least agree his complete lack of intelligence is concerning?

He says something insane, and it's like these guys go through a playbook.

He says he wants his science advisors to research some sort of antibiotic flushing of the lungs, and they spring in to bring up shit that nobody on any side claimed, like the "He didn't say to spray lysol in your lungs like you guys are saying!!"

Incredible dishonesty.

They can't just say "That was not a great way to explain it". They have to crank it up to 1000 and take that extra mile, and say he was literally suggesting injecting Lysol. Trump's greatest ally are these hysterical TDS sufferers, that always take one instance that could be objectively criticized, and add their own ridiculous spin on it.

Dude... come on - you know what Trump meant. Go post in the TDS megathread. Let it out there and @HereticBD might just post a couple pick of himself with a blowup Trump doll.

You are lying, outright.

It was you guys who brought up Lysol, presenting a scenario where Trump said to spray it into yourself or something. Nobody proposed that but you weirdos.

He said he wants his science advisors to research an antibiotic flushing of the lungs, or some sort of internalized UV treatment. Zero experts have spoken such idiocy.

"And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute. And is there a way we can do something, by an injection inside or almost a cleaning? It would be interesting to check that. That you're gonna have to use medical doctors with."

Heretic's position seems to be "He's not saying disinfectant, maybe he's proposing some sort of intravenous UV light therapy."

Insane people, these Trump cultists are.

Fucking hilarious

@HereticBD has to be one of the most pathetic and desperate posters I've encountered in here over 14 years. Without a doubt - top 3 and that's Heavyweights, OT and WR combined. The guy literally has nothing going on in his life outside defending Trump on here and probably another board or two.

Try quoting correctly

"Something like that".

You seem to be missing a key part of your argument. It's the part where he literally says, "Inject Lysol. If it works for furniture, it can work for humans too!"

Probably because he didn't say that.

Here’s the stable genius we have as the captain of the sinking ship called America.

“So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous - whether it's ultraviolet or just very powerful light - and I think you said that hasn't been checked but you're going to test it," Trump said. "And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside of the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you're going to test that too. Sounds interesting."

Come defend this Canadians.

Sounds interesting? Sounds like cancer to me.

Lol we got a self-appointed Trump translator here telling us what he really means.

He said he's going to ask his science advisors to research some sort of disinfectant cleaning in the lungs, which is insane for any adult to say, much less the leader of the free world, experts on all sides daily.

He didn't need to say Lysol. That's a deflection you guys are bringing to bear. It's stupid and insane. Is it so hard to simply admit he's a moron and unfit when he says shit like this on most day?

This is the same guy telling people hydroxychloroquine can't hurt them, knowing full well he knows zero about it, or antibiotics generally.
I believe you're deliberately overreacting to it.
As for hydroxychloroquine, it was being used in France and I believe South Korea, who people touted as having a great response to the virus. Trump doesn't get to prescribe drugs himself. All he was doing was mentioning it may have some benefit at a point when anecdotal evidence supported that. No different than CNN touting Remdesivir before there was evidence of its effectiveness. Difference was they called Trumps recommendation "dangerous" then did the exact same thing.

It's like you have to go through the most rudimentary shit with them, like if I say:

"I walked past a fence. I then saw someone fall into it."

They don't seem to understand that the second sentence is in relation to the first. The it is the fence, and it's the thing someone fell into.

LOL

Someone is mad that his pathetic attempt at denying calling this Trump's genocide was easily refuted...

This explains them pretty well.

Overreacting how, by noting it's idiocy, and dangerously so when pushed by the leader of the free world?

Nobody in their right mind would think, much less say on national television, that they're going to be putting experts on the task of researching some sort of disinfectant being pumped into the lungs of covid-19 patients.

You can bring up other shit, but it does nothing to change the regnant and dangerous stupidity of what he actually said.

I can’t even believe there are people defending the president here. America is Fn finished. There is no way we can come back from this. We have a president who thinks scientists can just “create” something that pops into his kid brain.

This is something a 3rd grader would say. “Just put some light inside of you, just create something like disinfectant inside of a person”
