Its a trail by water. The person is tied up and thrown into the water with a rope around their waist. If they sink they either have the Corona Virus or are a witch, or both.

I highly doubt that even people who can afford to stay home for two weeks will honor a quarantine. Americans are almost recklessly independent, and while it has always been one of our greatest qualities it has also bred an inherent sense of "I don't deserve this," or "Some virus isn't gonna tell me how to run my life," so they will try to go about their daily lives as they normally do, anyone else be damned. It's a level of selfishness that most people aren't even aware they possess because Depression-era folks are rapidly dying off and we have never had to suffer as a people through things like war or famine, not in any real sense.

I've said it before, if communist China can't stop it, then a U.S. president stands no chance, zero. People will scapegoat whichever leaders they can but this is not something that can be controlled without shutting down the entire country and that isn't going to happen.
