footage of italian military upholding the lockdown
I’ll bet there are more dead in their homes then they have reported so far.Multiple zeros.
Italy is a bit funny compared to other countries in Europe in that a lot of people live with their parents WELL into adulthood, sometimes until the kids themselves can be called senior citizens. Here in Norway, on the other hand, people move out when they're 18-19, and after that most of them only see their parents sporadically, heh. So young people here who catch the virus are not suddenly going to infect all the old folks. But in Italy, every young person who gets it will probably have passed it on to both their parents and grandparents before the evening is over, and I would guess that's why so many old people are dying there now. (Consider this an uneducated guess, though - I have no actual numbers to back this up with, only my impressions of the country, direct and indirect.)
I think we can stop talking about containment, that ship has seemingly sailed. Wholeheartedly agree with everything elseOnce again we have seen a repeat of Wuhan in Italy and Iran. This is NOT the flu. It is much more severe.
20% of patients who contracted the virus will require hospitalization. Hospitals will be overwhelmed if we do not take containment and mitigation measures. When healthcare system collapses, death rate will spike exponentially. That is not taking into account that patients with other conditions will not be able to access essential health services, leading to a hidden wave of deaths.
And yet a stupid friend of mine still thinks his kids class trip to Italy will be a go in April lol.
Italian greetings are also very touchy from a cultural perspective like using saliva over each others face with the kiss-hello so this may be part of the rapid spread.Italy is a bit funny compared to other countries in Europe in that a lot of people live with their parents WELL into adulthood, sometimes until the kids themselves can be called senior citizens. Sadly the stupid will deliver this to the masses on a platter.I've seen many countries down playing this chinese death plague only to get the virus to spread all over the place
It’s cheaper to go by cruise ship.Given that estimates are that 70% infection rate I'm keeping an eye on flights to Japan for cheap.
Shit is getting real...
I believe the virus effectiveness is being blown out of proportion but the fear and panic is real.
Governments are going to use this to lock everyone down, vaccinate everyone, put a computer chip in them..
Now I'm hearing once you get the virus, you will be a carrier for life.. And like the man says, there will be the infected and the non infected..
Ok can we not just say what we are hearing without posting credible links. Not saying you’re wrong but we are seeing so much speculation it’s getting hard to process it all.
