Basically Jon deserves 30 mill and not only can the UFC afford it, they would profit from it. Money isn't the issue here. It's the fact that the organisation doesn't like getting leveraged on, no matter what. So yeah it's a problem.

I really wanna see this fight obviously but I don't think it happens. Jon doesn't give a fuck about pleasing the fans or his image or doing "what's right". He'll vacate the belt and that's it.

They can go fight elsewhere and make money, but Dana will never overpay anyone (or even pay them appropriately). He doesn't need to. The UFC name does all the work for him.

PRIDE was the last real competition to the UFC and they went the way of the dodo a long time ago.

For the year of course UFC will rake in millions of profit but what he's asking is absurd since they don't do massive boxing numbers on single events.

They beat boxing annually by a lot but no single UFC event out does the biggest 1 or 2 boxing events individually

He knows they can't do it which is why hes asking that much. Dana might actually do it in partnership with some Saudi money though. That may be the "big news" he's hinting at. They might even pay Dana Co enough to have the winner of Jon v Tom fight Francis

Thing is, Jones hasnt even said the number, 30 million while crazy is still doable, when Canelo makes $30 million his opponent gets a small fraction of that and he isnt this huge PPV draw, the same would happen here, they could do it but they wont cause it would set a precedent, imagine Conor demanding $30 million cause he actually sells over 1 million PPV´s, or at least has done in the past, who knows how his next fight could do, if ever.
