I am saying if you are suspected of a crime and you were arrested and brought in for questioning by an agent, you do not talk. You get a lawyer and deal with everything through your lawyer period. This has NOTHING to do with being pulled over for some traffic violation. Jesus fucking christ

That's definitely more in the right direction, but it's not really based on a true stereotype. The joke is that cops discriminate against black people, which is why it works, but McD's is not known for disliking black people so it's not quite apt.

It was obviously a joke but done at a stupid time and in a situation where he should've had more awareness. We've all heard those ridiculous and dark "baby" jokes -- we all would a bit freaked out if we heard a daycare provider on the job say them.

He was joking clearly. We have a cop at our gym who made almost the exact same thing. He had someone's arm trapped behind their back and jokingly said "Stop resisting". The guy said "please don't shoot officer". He responded "Relax, you're white". Everyone laughed, including the 4 or 5 black dudes in the room.

It is definitely a little different when they are on the job though, but still, firing seems crazy. Cops actually shoot black people and don't get fired.

It's 100% totally different when you are in a group who know you well where you can say,"yeah, well, these guys know I'm not like that."
