Conor's takedown defence is statisically, factually worse than Barboza and Micheal Johnson

<{MindBrown}>
But that makes no sense, he got taken down most by Mendes at 145 and not a single time by the 155er in Alvarez.
Mendes is a top level wrestler and Eddie is a sub par wrestler. Not hard to figure out cheif.

No matter how either side tries to twist the records or stats there is two very important facts that nake this such a great matchup

Conor has never fought anyone like Khabib

Khabib has never fought anyone like Conor
There is no twisting of stats though they are taken directly from Fight Metric.

Conor is undoubtedly the best striker Khabib has faced, but he has absolutely destroyed the other strikers he's faced.

The only guys that had anything for Khabib had tdd and wrestling.

I don't think you know what Xenophobia means.
I don't know why anyone would be afraid of her

Conveniently leaving out the "bigger wrestler who is gonna ragdoll Conor" Alvarez? Conor's TDD is great, I suggest you watch the BJJ Scout breakdown.

And how did the fight with Mendes finish?

Do you have selective memory or are you deluded with hate?

Mendes was on two weeks notice, or have you forgotten?

No one thinks of Alvarez as a great wrestler. Mendes is a great wrestler. Khabib is THE wrestler.

Acknowledging reality isn't hate. I think you're confused.

If that took into account his pre UFC fights his % would be less than 50

In the LW division Conor has a record of 2-1.
Statistically that is worse than Edson's 19-6 but better than Michael's 17-13.

He is 1 and 0 in the LW division. He fought Nayt at 170 both times.

yeah because of 1 fight against the best wrestler in the division.

And before the Khabib fight MJ has an 83% TDD and Barboza had an 86% TDD. Conor has faced one good wrestler ever and was taken down at will, I think people know Conor's TDD is not very good, they wanna make something up so that Conor has some type of chance other than a flash KO.
Do people remember conor was due to fight a striker and then had to take a short notice fight against one of the best wrestlers in the fw div?

High chance mendes was roided as well

Alvarez could never make 145.

Understand that being taller != being bigger.

In what world is Vick Bigger than Mark Hunt. Use yall heads.
Think you confused yourself there.. use your head. Being taller, does not make one "bigger", in many aspects. Yet, in regards to Alvarez and McGregor, McGregor is the bigger man in regards to walk around weight out of camp, height, reach, etc.. Fighters such as Hunt and DC are much bigger then Vick, though much shorter. Never said Alvarez could make 145, though he has mentioned it in the past, and he has also said he wouldn't want to try that cut either.

You can’t use logic with a Mc Cuckold.

Don't be deceived by the hype of this fight. Even despite facing significantly larger, stronger wrestlers in their careers, Barboza and MJ (both of whom Khabib ragdolled) have significantly higher TDD stats than McGregor, not to mention superior backgrounds in wrestling and grappling (Johson's college wrestling experience and Barboza'a submission grapppling).

The only time Conor faced a high level wrestler in his career was at FW where he was taken down 4 times in two rounds and controlled and smashed on the ground for nearly 4 straight minutes in the second round.

The only time Conor faced someone even close to Khabib's size, Nate Diaz, who is known as a weak wrestler, he was stopped in the first contest and won a razor close decision in the second landing with Diaz landing a staggering 252 strikes to McGregor's 197, he was also taken down.

Don’t get your stats, can you explain them in more depth, where did you get them from, do they cover all fighters full careers?

There is lies, damned lies and statistics

The td defense stat doesn't account for Conor's footwork or ability to make fighters pay. Barboza may stuff a higher % of takedowns but is very susceptible to pressure. Stuffing takedowns is great but you need to have tools to stop your opponent from closing the distance effectively and making your opponent pay.

extremely simplistic analysis

leave the real analysis to people who actually know and train mma

Can this Alvarez example fuck off already?

Eddie's a terrific defensive wrestler but his offensive wrestling leaves a lot to be desired. He's not even in the same league as khabib.

Eddie Alvarez is such a bad wrestler he’s taken down everybody he’s fought in the UFC except Conor and Cerrone. That’s Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, RDA, Pettis, Melendez all failing to stop him from taking them down.

I bet you thought Conor would walk through Diaz as well.

No. That was a fight I had no idea who would win. Just like the rematch. I knew it was stylistically a very interesting match up and it still is today. Unlike most of you fucks, I’m realistic. I don’t put fighters up like they’re invincible. Like this bullshit with Khabib. He’s invincible, right? Just like Aldo was. They’re all unbeatable when they win the belt, right? Fake ass fans. Motherfuckers aren’t even real Khabib fans, just Conor haters. They jump on his next opponents nuts every goddamn time and when Conor wins, suddenly his opponent was always garbage. Fake, uneducated, stupid fuckimg people everywhere.

Conor has a better TD% than Khabib
62% vs 44%

Conor will most likely ragdoll Khabib because fight stats are very important

Lol TS doesn't understand statistics and doesn't understand what a fact is.
