Schaub said today on his podcast that McGregor told him after the Aldo fight that he never wants to do a press tour like that again, it was too exhausting.

He thinks the whole retirement thing is Conor trying to gouge the UFC for more money because if Conor loses again he loses a lot of his bargaining power so he might as well get as much as he can now.
