Make no mistake about it
Conor was a rare breed of fighter at this time

It’s not even the same guy post Floyd truthfullyAt his best when he was light , long lanky and light on his feet …. At his worst when he bulked up - lost cardio and speed and fell in love with only using his hands
Yeah he fought Floyd after moving up 155It’s not even the same guy post Floyd truthfully
Can’t even compare the two
Training with Ido made a big difference. At his best when he was light , long lanky and light on his feet …. At his worst when he bulked up - lost cardio and speed and fell in love with only using his hands
A fresh, young, healty Poirier that goes down with a shot like that
I still can't figure it out how was it possible. It looks like he went down on purpose.
Nothing is free in this gameI still think those first 2 shots on the ground were to the back of the head but when you got Herb baked, it is what it is.
Connor before he lost himself in the money, drugs and bitches, was something special and at times he was enjoyable to listen to, he was passionate and a student of the game and spoke respectfully about alot of things. I miss that Connor, he was good for the sport
I thought Dustin landed some good strikes, a few good leg kicks and some good left hands. But he was visibly stressed compared to Connor who looked extremely relaxed. I suspect the feints and movement are what overwhelmed his mind. Happens to people all the time in sparring.Such a strangely palpable fight
One of the few where Dustin was actually legitimately shook
You could feel the energy
Low key I think the ufc brass let him bump a line before this
I think Dana and the MGM team had a fallout so they moved to T Mobile. You can tell the age of this video when the MGM Grand is listed as the venue.
I can't even remember the last time the UFC held an event there.
