Media Conor ( The Brock Exemption ) vs USADA ( MEGA)

McGregor admits in the live interview with Ariel that he doesn't need to be in the USADA pool for 6 months because USADA is going to give him an exemption (2 clean tests only before he can come back and fight). He says him and his team are in constant communication with USADA and that an interview and meeting will happen soon with them and then it'll be official.

His original statement on this matter was edited out by MMA Hour after they finished the Live version. So I guess Conor's agent is trying to do damage control.

Horse Meat Conor is going to KO Chandler.

Staff Note. Conor has never failed a test. So please no unsubstantial PED accusations.

BREAKING
Dana announces UFC is no longer under USADA testing says they’ll go back to commission testing
LOL very true - I can see it now, Dana in a t-shirt talking to TMZ: "USADA didn't want to test, I can't make them test. State Commission stepped up, they're young, they're hungry, they'll test anybody, they're ready. They said they'll test Conor whenever he's ready"

Any fighter will wave him testing if required to get the pay day.
Yes but they dont want that smoke if they go Mark Hunt. You cant have a waiver for this kind of thing exist on paper,so its useless.

Wow. I found him. If you're an adult, my man, you are a sparkling GEM of innocence!
Yet many people crying about this think Islam's meldonium (the same drug numerous Russian athletes had been caught with previously) was because of a heat procedure. Sweet summer child

When it comes to Conor McGregor, people have tunnel vision and/or have blinders on.

I've been trying - for years now- to tell everyone that Conor will never fight @ welterweight ( true welterweight) cause he's not big enough - and now- certainly not talented enough. Conor would get blown out of the water by any relevant welter.

Even if they let Conor " cheat " ....it would be counterproductive ( vs any actual decent welter) and his mouth would be wide open minutes in.

Stop picking on him.

He is clearly on prescription meds in that interview...

without a prescription

Has mike Chandler commented on this. I’d assume he doesn’t GAF about whether Conor is on PED’s. If that’s so, I’m fine with it.

If you think ripped is a sign of steroids maybe you don't know as much as you think sir.
Josh Barnett was always a flabby bastad and also juiced to the tits.

Conor put on 20lbs of lean muscle on in a year ffs.

You don't do that naturally.

I don't believe muscle = steroids but you can add 20 in a years time for sure. I've done more than that for my clients in the past. Especially for a high level athlete who's kept their weight down for years and has access to the best nutrition, coaches and a pro mindset.

I cannot believe the amount of people that believe that this McGregor v Chandler fight will happen. USADA will not be a loophole for Conor. Im convinced Conor will never fight in the UFC again.

Conor McGregor, double champ of old, Has revealed a secret that is bold.
On Ariel Helwani's MMA Hour, He admitted, with a slight glower,
That only two USADA tests he'll pass, To fight again, his age-old task.

He's too rich to endure six months of testing, His ego and pride dares us to be questioning.
Brock Lesnar had the privilege too, Anderson Silva's money carried him through.
The GOAT Sherdog poster shows 13 others, But haters fill the forum, they're like brothers.

McGregor's future is set, marked in stone, Welterweight Champion, in 2024, he'll be known.
With his steel leg, he'll KO Chandler, no doubt.
Mayweather's record, 49-1, let's shout it out.

Conor McGregor, he keeps us all entertained, His confidence, talent, and fame are ingrained.
On to the next challenge, he'll always roam, Our Irish king, he's surely "Notorious" to the bone.

I think they would actually cancel the USADA deal over this. Cos there is nothing logical about what Conor is doing according to WADA antidoping. But they've change the statutes for UFC before so but this is exceptional.

When USADA agreed to have slightly modified rules for the UFC (a couple of years ago?) they went out on shaky ground, the 6 month exception for non-UFC signed athletes from the inception of the program though I thought was a good compromise to kick-start the program, it had nothing to do with Brock specifically, unless Dana had already planned it before approaching Usada though.. which I doubt.

Edit: https://www.thescrap.co/usada-reveals-two-significant-changes-to-ufc-anti-doping-policy/
This is the shaky ground.. and I dont question why Conor is pushing them then. Dana thinks he could do what he wants.

e2: Aus ASADA only followed the code btw as they are trained to.
