Conor McGregor vs Melvin Guillard

I just re-watched Melvins fight against Nate and man, he put on a beating on Nate and for some fucked up reason, he took Nate down and got choked despite doing well standing up and in clinch (judo throws)

Curious to know who did better against Nate and who would win and how?

Conor would absolutely decimate Guillard, and despite the loss to Nate, remains a fantastic fighter. Guillard was never that good.

Melvin had some power that couldn't be questioned and his speed would pose some real threats for CMG, but I agree the dude just wasn't consistent in his performances.

melvin would be a huge test for conor. Melvin in his prime was a force. He really put a fucking beatdown on nate, that was a great comeback win.

Guillard always had fantastic physical attributes. He was fast, explosive and powerful.
He had a clear lack of dedication, therefore he was very inconsistent. A dedicated Guillard with more wrestling hours would have mixed up that division. That chin is gone though ...

He did, I rewatched it and Melvin showed amazing Judo throws. He was shown to be training with Ron Tripp who beat Rickson in Sambo. It was weird how Melvin was beating and throwing Nate around and then he just went for a double leg and got choked out!
