Conor Mcgregor secures Irish Presidential Nomination

I thought everyone always said that the Irish people didn't really care for Conor? Maybe I am thinking of someone else.

I get being proud of him for his accomplishments.. but who would want this coke head running their country? LOL
as of now his tweet is too vague to take sseriously

They wouldn't actually elect him would they? I don't know anything about Ireland, but I know businesses largely removed his image and presence after the rape incident.

I'm neither a rapist, neither a philosopher.

You know nothing about drugs consumption probably, I've grew up with many of my childhood friends becoming junky, or simply people I knew in my country and when I went abroad, I used to live in tough neighborhood, and bad places, and I saw a lot of things.

I can tell you a story, a man took cocaine and alchohol, with another man, they were friends, and they ended up having sex together, gay sex, yes. So basically, if drugs are consumed, one could do crazy things, let me remind you tell you that cocaine and alcohol combined effect are powerful, and that can lead to bad things.

There was a guy we knew, who hit his brother with a knife, while being drunk with drugs, are you gonna say he is a murderer, or attempted murderer, of course no, that was not his nature, and drugs cannot be blamed, since he is the one to blame for taking them especially in a non responsible way.

You right here, wherever you are, if I put you in a room, with girls, and I give you cocaine and alchohol, and the same for the girls, alcohol with drugs, you would end up having sex and fornicate. Those girls you had sex with, were also under drugs. Are you a rapist ? Or is the slut a rapist ?

It's not rape if she can't say no, that's what rapist says. It's not rape if she said yes, that is the only truth. Now, this is why nightclub are bad place, and a lot of things happen there, and there are no opportunities there, there is nothing there, it's empty.

Connor should never had went to a nigthclub or a place full of bums trying to kill boredom out of their mediocre lifes. Connor is responsible and accountable of what he did, but it was not his false, but the drugs.

I know a man who took drugs and killed his mother, in jail, he is crying and regret the act. Is he a murderer ? Yes, and no, as it was drugs who altered his psych, his mind and made him commit murder, but that was not his nature.

You are like living in a world of black and white, while your angle are limited, I see the world in grey.

Connor is not a rapist, he simply took drugs and alchohol, with hookers/sluts who also took drugs and alchohol, and the result were not good.

Be simple, stay out of drugs, nothing came out of them, is the lesson of the day, and let's stay there.
I've done plenty of drugs and they don't change you into a completely different person, they bring out the person that's already there, good or bad, so your friends were already violent or a little gay or whatever. Conor would be a violent sexual predator whether he was the president or a potato farmer, the money and drugs just give him more opportunity to be who he already is.

Ara tech. Rapist, philosopher

in vino, veritas

How??? Conor is not a good dude, at all.

I think he's mostly despised over there and would probably just split the right vote and ironically probably contribute to a victory for the left.

Is there a stronger word than despise? Abhor maybe?
I've always liked abhor, good call. Is it a unanimous opinion or are there people who still drink the kool-aid?

I'd say the closest we have over here is Jon Jones. Great fighter, utterly despicable. Would never gain a modicum of traction if he threw the idea of running for office out there.

I would say that this is the kind of guy you don't want representing your country, but as an American, who am I to talk?

<bringit>

Huh. I don't think Dave Chapelle should hold himself up as someone who cares, unless we define caring differently.
Fair enough lol. For context, he had mentioned being in school and that he and his class watched the challenger space shuttle explode live on TV.
He compared how big of a deal it was at the time to today where there's no time to observe any one tragedy because there's always another one soon after. And that it's impossible to care about any one thing when you hear about everything all the time.
And that eventually, each individual just gives up on caring alrogether when you hear about the newest terrible thing.

Why are the right wing insisting on all these troll candidates?

Yeah, we get it, Trump was a celebrity, it doesn't mean every wingnut cokehead out there has to come forward and people certainly don't have to support them...

... Clown world.

I wouldn't put anything past the "right" at the moment.

Their entire political sphere is about trolling others.

If electing a cheating cokehead pissed enough people off, the fear is the entire right in Ireland might vote for it.

So fucking sad.

Fortunately, no country is as screamingly politically insane as the US, so it's less likely at least.

We'd have hit the lowest ebb in the world if we reached a point where Trump, Farage and Conor were all leading countries, CHRIST ALMIGHTY.

Not believing this until there’s a more credible source
He’s been planning it for awhile now . But his ties with Trump who is despised by most and definitely most actual politicians in other countries will hurt him badly in an election along with McGregors own comments on immigrants in Ireland unless he steals the election

I don’t see it happening Ireland is not an extremism country of far right and they see the crap Trump is doing here they will stay far clear away from anyone associated with Trump it would be just another Trump puppet .

being generous id say 2% of the public like him, thats being really really generous, those people are knackers and inner city scumbags, the vast majority think hes a bollix, he has no chance whatsoever of even making a shortlist, and the threadstarter is a moron who posts dogshit threads, hope that clears things up..
