Conor doesn't deserve the shot but neither does Gaethje who had had 2 title shots in 4 fights. Just because he beat Fiziev doesn't mean he gets a shot right away. These guys all are so entitled. I mean I'm glad that Gathje proved it by beating a guy lower than him, but the rank squatting has gotta stop. How is Chandler still ranked so high? He should 100% be below Gamrot.

dont think so as it takes a lot of cumulative punishment to put Gaethje down. one left hand wouldnt do it; Gaethje's chin is too solid for that. Eddie had to knee his face like 10 times before he went down and Dustin had to throw like 30 punches before the ref stopped the fight. even when Charles dropped him, Justin was immediately trying to get up - that didnt work because Charles is Charles. you also are assuming Justin wouldnt land any calf or thigh kicks before Conor had a chance to counter.

this argument dont hold. mark hunt has taken tons of shots from some heavy hitters before and after but got switched off by manhoef single punch... there are more examples like that
prime conor was too technical for justin. only question is if justin was durable enough to tire him out and get the W after first 3 rounds of getting picked apart
