Rumored Conor McGregor accused of raping woman at NBA Finals. He Denies Allegations. Police investigating

I significantly doubt that second claim, but I'm always happy when I meet a fellow beer snob.

I guess I would expect MMA journalism to be in a state where something like this would receive more follow-up and attention. But we ain't there.

I just had a haul of Floodland arrive, so am happy.

"When the woman tried to leave the bathroom stall, the letters state that McGregor grabbed her, pinned her against the wall, ripped her pants, and tried to sodomize her. The woman escaped after elbowing McGregor repeatedly, the letters said."

Omg, he took another L! First Khabib, then a drunk old bar fly, Poirer and now he was stopped via elbows from some tiny women!! What's next? Or rather, who gives him his next L? Pathetic.

McGregor has been accused of sexually assaulting women on multiple occasions. In 2018, Irish police investigated the claim of a woman who said he raped her in a Dublin hotel. After no charges were filed, the alleged victim sued him in civil court; the resolution of the case is unknown. In 2020, French police arrested him after he was accused of exposing himself to a woman in the restroom of a bar; he was ultimately not charged with a crime.

Thank you. Very austere information. I didn't recall that the incident in France was also allegedly at a restroom. That would make it the second one of its kind. Strange.

I had a 2019 Maman last night that held up well at a beer share. A SP/WW Bubble Wrap. A lot of triples, the best being a Green Cheek TIPA. Good times. Enjoy that Floodland. Cheers.

Or a false accusation.
Sorry, that'd what I meant about histrionic. Like she's just doing this for attention since it'll be easily falsifiable. Unless it's true which case, wow there are a lot of dumb shitheads working security.

Not really. To me it makes it less plausible thar they would go get someone from the crowd, because everyone around now can identify the said security guards who just made themselves accessories to a rape. It's much more plausible if they were in the same VIP room and it was just a few of Conors cronies around.

Who knows, depends on the context - if it happens in a corridor or off to the side then it would be much less clear. Also as I say strong potential those Heat guards aren't thinking 'I gotta get this chick so Conor can rape her' - they just gotta invite someone to come meet a celebrity from their view at that moment potentially.

Isn’t this like the 3rd time he’s raped or assaulted a woman? I guess having all that money doesn’t make up for having an ugly ass wife. But repeatedly resorting to rape is definitely not the answer.

Anybody can accuse you. How many times has he been convicted of a sex crime?
Anybody CAN be accused…but most people are not. That includes stars waaaay bigger than Conor. The guy is a despicable piece of shit and it’s 100% believable that he’s raped multiple women.

The story so far as we know of says "she was separated from her friend by NBA and Heat security." We need more detail of this to determine whether the case was actually plausible or not.

The details we have are plausible. More details should, hopefully, make things clearer as to what actually happened, but you shouldn't expect that. There's a reason rapes are so hard to prosecute.

Did they tell her.."hey Conor wants to meet you but uh your friend can't come.." well why not?

You're clearly not listening to what I'm saying. A great number of people will follow meekly, worried about whether or not they or someone they know is in trouble, if a security figure walks up to them and says something like (while smiling warmly), "Miss, please come with us, there's something we'd like to talk to you about. (to friend) Just her. She'll be right back." And if everyone involved is acting like she's expected to follow, she's most likely to follow as she tries to figure out what's going on and is worried about embarrassing herself or doing something wrong. There are a dozen ways they could have approached her that would have most people meekly accompany them. You need to lose the idea that they forcefully removed her, gave her time to process what was going on or acted in any way sinister.

Did they get her in a public corridor with witnesses who could all identify security guards who are now accessories to a RAPE? or was she already in VIP and there was no one else around?

It sounds like you still think that they got her away from her friend with the intention of Conor raping her. That might never have been his intent until she turned him down and that was probably never their intent.

Doesn't surprise me. Once a piece of shit scumbag, always a piece of scumbag

You're picturing it like a cartoon where they grab her and carry her away. What's more likely is they walked up to her and said, "Miss, please come with us. Conor would like to meet you." then lead her away. It would take her a moment to figure out that she's with people who aren't safe or that what's happening isn't okay. People have a trust for authority figures, have a real reluctance to embarrass themselves in public and it usually takes time to figure out that what's happening isn't okay when everyone is acting like it's okay.

The reason people get away with rape is because other people have the cartoonish image in their heads that you do.

And the reason people believe false allegations is because before they have any actual information, they completely fabricate a fictional series of events that justifies their predisposition. You're literally conjuring up imaginary events to make the story seem more believable.

As a way to explain how it's possible to someone who has already decided it's not possible. Try to keep up.

Yup, only surprise is there hasn't been more allegations. High profile filthy rich athletes are a magnet for these claims.
What’s more surprising is that shit heads like you enable rich and powerful men who rape women. I’d what you’re saying were true than stars much bigger that Connie would be getting accused all the time. But most are not, and when they are, they’re often pieces of shit like Conor is.

But why would he do it? Aren't there loads of willing women available to him?
