Escaping by elbow? If she wanted to be credible, she'd have said she leg kicked him. MSG has cameras everywhere, and I can't imagine they could wipe relevant footage without raising suspicion. So either Conor is a real dumbass, or this woman is a histrionic/Conor plant.
One of the issues is there is no real punishment for false allegations. Remember a kid in my highschool that was falsely accused, had a university scholarship lined up, but had to spend almost two years of his life in prison for absolutely nothing until the girl that accused him drunkenly admitted it never happened. She should have been shoved in prison for twice the time he had.
This is my point that at this moment we don't know the fullness of her allegations - it may be that she is alleging that the Heat security separated her from her friend by coming to get her and saying 'McGregor wants to meet you'. The Rolling Stone article says its the VIP bathroom where this is alleged to hav took place so potentially she's already in a VIP suite or area at this point. At that stage its not remotely unbelievable that she doesn't detect the full sense of danger in the situation until she's in the mens room with him and his security, by which time Heat security could be doing nothing more than watching the door assuming that something consential is going on in there - it doesen't mean that all these people are in on the plan from the office for McG to force himself on her, or not from their POV anyway.
Or a false accusation.
