Whats crazy is they both traded left hooks in that moment, both caught each other flush. Conor really is a beast and did bring an innovative style of movement, striking, and stance. His wider karate stance looked like it helped put more power on his hook and kept him balanced after taking the shot from poirier. After he got hit he also did a karate step out.

Poirier had a basic MMA/wrestle-boxer stance and got badly hurt by the hook. I wonder if this was all coincidence or if Conor really noticed all these things about the current batch of MMA fighters.

Not sure if trolling or retarded. The punch occurs with 3:45 on the clock in round 1. Mike Goldberg immediately says, "And another shot lands for Mcgregor."

Now, you want to talk about a strike everyone missed, look at OAM vs Dunham. OAM lands a left straight to the body which hunches over dunham at 4:28, yet the commentators completely fail to notice that dunham was hurt. OAM lands a knee to the body 10 seconds later which ends the fight. The punch is never acknowledged until OAM tells rogan that he hurt dunham with the punch, and rogan ignores him.

He got rocked by a left hook prior to the glancing blow. I think this is the shot. He was definitely on wobbly legs... that is why Conor was talking to him and walking him down.
