Frankie has been on a run of terror lately but i favor conor in the first 3 rounds, if edgar can take his shots i see conor getting a 48-47 split. Your thoughts?

I think Conor would have a difficult time keeping it off the ground for 3 rounds, and would favor Frankie in a decision. I think Conor would most likely have to finish Frankie to win the fight. The likelihood of that will probably drop off after the 2nd round.

Yeah, if you mean Edgar will toss McGregor up into the air and then down on to the canvas.

I think Conor can stuff some of Frankies TD's until he gets tired. I think this fight is really just a matter of conditioning.

I got Edgar in this fight by decision. I think he will mix up the boxing with the wrestling and have a good gameplan. I don't think he will finish Conor, but he will win a unanimous decision, he will make Conor grapple a lot I think

Frankie has some of the best timing on his TD's in MMA. If Conor can't catch him early I think he will get taken down at some point. We will see then how good Conor's ground game is.

I give Conor one round to KO Frankie. If it makes it pass one round it's Frankie's fight to lose.

First poster I have seen say Conor can win a decision against Edgar in a 5 round fight.

I want Frankie to win... however.. he IS very small. Conor is the Midget King. It will be close.

Conor has proved his "One tricked pony ness" I would give it to Edgar.....I would give it Aldo as well.

There's no chance in hell Conor's winning in a clean decision - maybe a controversial one. If he wants to win clear cut, knock him out. Best chance to knock him out? 1 and 2 round. After that it's gravy train for The Answer.

It will be interesting to see how this fight plays out. After the Mendes & Diaz fights, I think it is safe to say that certain skill sets are going to be more effective against Conor. But let us not forget that he beat Jose Aldo, one of the most dominant fighters in the history of the sport, and he did it in record time. At 145, no one can under-estimate McGregor. And with the reality check Conor just got with moving up in weight, I think his focus on the featherweight division will be better than ever. So yeah, I got this as a toss-up fight... Edgar is an all-time great, and his wrestling/stand-up combo is a lot more dangerous than Mendes.

All Aldo had to do and what I was madly hoping for was to avoid the pocket, the left, and spam the take down or clinch. By the third they both will gas but that serves Aldo best because of his BJJ. Coast the last three rounds by smothering Conor as you so wish or sub. But, his pride got in the way. As with Conor's pride versus Diaz.

I don't disagree.. but at the end of the day, Conor did something that many good fighters failed to accomplished, he stopped Aldo... in the case of Jose, his head-games worked.

But no one is going to crawl inside Nate Diaz's head.. and if they did, I doubt they ever come out... when it comes to Frankie, I don't think there is much chance that McGregor is going to rattle him...

I think Edgar is going to embarrass Conor.

When the dust settles I think Conor's run to the FW belt will be seen as the luckiest title run in history.
I watched the Mendes fight again and Conor was losing on the feet too, not to mind the ground where he was dominated.

I think Edgar finishes Conor within 4 rounds.
