It's not going to be entertaining watching a version of Nick that's been partying for 4 years get either starched by someone top level or beaten by someone that would have had no business in the cage with him in his prime.

He was one of my favorite fighters for many years,he needs a solid 18 months to clean up his act and get in shape,he also needs a few tune up fights before he challenges anybody in the top 15.Who even knows if he has been doing anything besides partying. He looks like shit ,can barely string together a legimate and understandable complete sentence. The guy has fallen far from grace and I don't think he has it in him to make a return.

Do or don't do. There is no try.

His opponent will probably be a let down for a guy who was away for so long to finally come back for.

“I haven’t [personally talked to him]," said Dana White, "but I know that our matchmakers have.”

Even though he has spoken to matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard, the UFC president said that he doesn’t truly believe that Diaz has his heart still in the game, and is doubting whether or not he actually makes a comeback.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t think Nick Diaz wants to fight. I don’t think Nick has that love or that passion for fighting. I think that it’s sort of a love-hate relationship for him. All the things that Nick has or has done [are] because of fighting, but I don’t think that he loves to do it,” White said.

Ultimately, though, it will be Diaz’s decision and his alone if he wants to return to the Octagon or not.

“(A comeback) is up to Nick. Nick knows whether he wants to fight or not.”

mean less than nothing. ufc and nick would talk cause they have to offer him fights or pay him to not fight.

He was done 10 years ago. Nick was one of my favorites, but he’s well past the point where he has the passion to fight. He was just coming in the cash checks his last few years in the UFC and that was years ago.

If he comes back and fights anyone in the top 20, I'm betting the house on his opponent. You can't party that hard for 4-5 years straight and then come back and win against a top opponent.
This guy can..

I liked the Diaz brothers and the fact Nate smashed mcgregor so easily on short notice is an all-time MMA highlight. But this crap about “I was just about to really start fighting after losing 3 rounds,” and “Don’t say mean things about my BABY brother” just makes them look like dooooshbags. Not interested.

I remember when people used to be able to hear the music and see the writing on the wall. That ship has sailed long ago

As a huge fan,god I hope he doesn't.He is in no condition and we will need alot of time to recover from his partying of the past several years. He looks like shit and can't even compose a sentence that makes any sense at all.Sadly,he is shot.

I thought he was supposed to be fighting Masvidal in a few months. Was that all bullshit?
Yeah, I thought that was the whole reason he announced a comeback. He wanted to fight Masvidal to avenge Nate?

Ibarra rampage and Nick are my favorite fighters. I don’t want to see him come back unless he really wants to fight. He can bounce back from his lifestyle, but it can’t be on account of a cash grab.
