“I haven’t [personally talked to him]," said Dana White, "but I know that our matchmakers have.”

Even though he has spoken to matchmakers Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard, the UFC president said that he doesn’t truly believe that Diaz has his heart still in the game, and is doubting whether or not he actually makes a comeback.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I don’t think Nick Diaz wants to fight. I don’t think Nick has that love or that passion for fighting. I think that it’s sort of a love-hate relationship for him. All the things that Nick has or has done [are] because of fighting, but I don’t think that he loves to do it,” White said.

Ultimately, though, it will be Diaz’s decision and his alone if he wants to return to the Octagon or not.

“(A comeback) is up to Nick. Nick knows whether he wants to fight or not.”

Easy tune up fight. Then Masvidal for the GOATBMF title.

Dana starches Nick in the first round

Nick will leave Jorge a bloody mess if they let him back in there.

War Nick.

Gonna be a brutal comeback. Spent the last 4 years partying in Vegas

I would be excited if they gave him a can-ish opponent

I don’t wanna see him against top 20

That’s what I was thinking. When you change life styles like that in your mid thirties your really gonna have a tough time going back to pro athlete

Wanting to fight or passion is irrelevant. If a Diaz fights, it's because they need money. Which is why even with huge periods of inactivity, they will fighting into their 40s IMO.

No thanks.

Seeing Diaz fight will just be sad at this point. He's spent the past few years partying and drinking.

I seriously doubt a comeback would go well.

he really has, I actually ran across him in Vegas a couple years back at like 5 am. He did not look good. But, we did have a 3-5 minute convo and he didn't SOUND too bad. For Nick that is.

I'm not gonna pretend like I wouldn't watch, but it might not go well for him. I wonder how much he's been training...

As we saw this past weekend with Rampage...

i have no desire to watch fighters fight for a paycheck. They have to want to fight and believe they can win or it doesnt matter whom is in the octagon its gonna be a bad fukn fight.

Watching MVP crush cans that have no chance isnt fun to watch Period.
