Confirmed: Masvidal vs. Usman is Next

I'd love for Masvidal to KO Usman, but lets be real
Usman is gonna dry hump him for all 5 rds. Masvidal will bitch and moan about being hugged the whole fight afterwards, and Usman will call out either GSP or McGregor.

Other than Maia, and that one imada loss forever ago, who has really had success beating Masvidal with a grapple heavy game plan? I don't think this fight is as clear cut as many sherdoggers make it out to be.

Masvodal is actually a very live dog in this match up. Usman gives you opportunities to strike with him, with his long pressure. He's not this all out wrestler type like many think, and Masvidal's no scrub on the ground. I still favor Usman because of his TDs, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jorge won the fight.

Masvidal will win (if they fight). His grappling skills are one of the most underrated of the game, and I really suspect that Usman won't be able to hold him for five rounds. Yes, he was able to do that with Woodley (a superior wrestler in comparasion with Jorge), but Tyron has a bad gas tank and his passivity when outworked has always been a known weakness. And RDA is just too small for WW.

Fun fact: While on paper you'd be dumb not to take Usman here, you're all going to see another highligh reel finish from Gambred.....capturing the title and pulling off a feat only Lawler has done previously. A general fan favourite who most had resigned to gatekeeper status years prior, finding second gear and wrecking shop on way to UFC gold. Jorge's head is so in the game, so confident now that he's learned to eliminate his timidity and hesitant style of years past.

It's amazing how many people say and "like" this kind of trash. Jorge has good BJJ and submission-defense, but his wrestling is average at best. He's been taken down at LW. Usman is a huge WW (could easily fight at MW) who easily outwrestled and took down Woodley. Again, if an old Maia beat Masvidal by outwrestling him, why would Usman have any trouble doing the same?
