Yes I had to stop collecting for a while due to finances but recently bought all the back issues I missed. Trimmed my subscriptions to just Batman, talon, all new xmen and uncanny x men.

How's talon been??

Talon is okay. I liked the earlier issues but I stopped picking it up because he just deals with the Owls all the time. It got old.

If you guys are in Whittier, California, check out this shop Half Books off.

There comics were usually 25% - 50% off cover price. That's where I picked up Superman/Batman #2 and Injustice #4. For a book store, they had good selection of comics. They had TPB Revival Volume 1 for $6.50, I should've gotten that one too.

Damn, that's a pretty badass cover.

I think Batman Owls ran from 1-11. I thought it would be 12 issues for sure.

One more thing about that book store that sells comics. I talked to the manager and she said they get deals from a WB (DC) rep that stops by their store from time to time. I wonder if WB is undercutting comic book shops by selling to them at higher prices since they're already "established" sellers.

I don't get what you're trying to say by extremely important

it's a wordy event for sure, but it does have it's epic moments, I say continue but if you're not into reading then you probably won't enjoy it

It's official. I now prefer the Ultimates Universe over Marvel 616. Now if only Arthur Adams, David Finch, Frank Cho, and Jim Cheung could do some long running series there.

what are you reading that brought you to this conclusion?

I loved Ultimates I & II as well as Ultimat Spider-Man Vol. 1.
Everything else was bollocks imo.

Pretty much have enjoyed most of the titles with the exception of the vampire Avengers story. I have a lot more to catch up on, but it's been enjoyable.

Alright. I need Ultimates clarification. I just read the first volume of the latest Ultimates. So.......

Thor got jacked up by Reed's children and lost his divinity. So is he just a regular human with Stark toys. Or did he actually have the Super Soldier serum given to him in Norway? Or will this all sort itself out as I get current with the newest issues? Feel free to spoiler it. I'm the kinda guy who wikis a movie while watching it.

I need to re-visit this one. Have had it for about 15-20 years now and only read it a few times. great story.

Started up American Vampire tonight. Really enjoyed the first five issues. What do others think of them?

Also side note. What was the graphic novel where vampires were like the aristocrats versus the peasant like zombies??
