And how is Avengers vs X-Men? Worth a read?

It's an OK event. Starts off good, but it's not great like it could have been. My favorite issue is the one with a battle worn Spidey on the cover (#10 I think). The problem is they try to do too much and it just feels like a mess at the end. I think in the 2nd to last issue one of the teams asks for help from a certain "hero" that always makes a big impact, but nothing comes of it. I'd say it's a 6/10.

what has been up with batman lately? ever since death in the family ended its been just...weird....

Picked up Superman Unchained.

Can't wait to read it later, Jim Lee is my all time favorite artist.

I love Jim Lee's work but Unchained sucked. It might've been the inker but it was hard to tell what to focus on, the composition was bad.

Batman #21, Zero Year has one of the best artwork I've seen in a while. Capullo's drawing was fantastic and the vibrant colors was unique for a Bat book.

I think it's safe to say that Capullo has surpassed Jim Lee as an artist.

Comixology is running a .99 cent sale in support of Superman Unchained. So I bought All Star Superman by Morrison and Quitely. What a great run! Not the usual Superman I grew up with. Gonna have to read the new 52 Action Comics now.

Is Ferals any good? I don't know if i should order Volume 1.
Anybody got some suggestions what series i could (or should) start to read?

Eh, it has its moments.. My one problem with the event was the Avengers had to send their heaviest hitters, Thor being one of them into space to be the first wave against the phoenix force..

This was done because the crossover would've lasted 1 issue as Thor single handily would've wrecked the Xmen all by himself.. Sadly the best battles that could've been didn't happen...

The last books i read was The Boys, the Authority and Preacher and i liked Preacher and The Boys really much. The Authority was good.
I always enjoy Thor and Batman.
Are there any comics which are about the Medieval Times?? (I have Northlander but don't know about anything else.)

Justice League 3000, Superman looks bleh, Batman looks cool as usual, WW looks pretty much the same, Green Lantern and Flash look pretty cool, this has potential

Just read Abnett & Lanning's Annihilation: Nova, DAMN I never realized how powerful Nova is. It just me all hyped to possibly see him in The Guardians of The Galaxy movie.

I'm drawing a blank friend.

I haven't read the boys or authority and I can't think of a storyline set in medieval times -- except when the FF went back in time :/

I suggest Thor: God of Thunder if you're not reading it already. And as for medieval times stuff I would suggest Demon Knights from DC. It's getting cancelled unfortunately, but you should still read it because it's awesome.

Hey prod, I don't know if you've seen this in Dragon's movie thread:

Universal Developing LOCKE & KEY Feature Film Adaptation

The graphic novel Locke & Key has had a difficult road to being adapted in the past, but the prospect of seeing the story translated onscreen just became quite a bit more promising. Heat Vision reports that Universal has picked up the supernatural comic series to develop as a feature film, with Star Trek and Transformers scribes/producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci onboard to produce and Frank Miller to direct. Created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, the graphic novel centers on three siblings who return to their family home in Massachusetts following their father’s murder, where they stumble upon magical keys that give them various powers and abilities.

Locke & Key was initially developed as a potential television show produced by Kurtzman and Orci, but Fox ultimately decided to pass on the Mark Romanek-helmed pilot in 2011. There’s no guarantee that a feature film adaptation will make it all the way to production, but Universal is certainly going to give it a go.
