Anyone read Age of Ultron? It just "concluded". I have mixed feelings because I felt the story dragged it's feet a bit. Could have been a 7 issue series IMO.

Here's what happened in the last issue:

Ultron is stopped
Time is "broken"
Reg. Galactus gets tossed into the Ultimate Universe (4 issue mini "Hunger" incoming)
Angela (former Image Comics character) makes first appearance in the Marvel U and vows revenge against whoever got here there (wolverine since he broke time)

^ can't agree with that all.

DD is Definitely not on the level of Shang Chi

lol at pre-crisis Karate Kid.

I'm drawing a blank friend.

I haven't read the boys or authority and I can't think of a storyline set in medieval times -- except when the FF went back in time :/

No problem. Thanks for helping me.

I suggest Thor: God of Thunder if you're not reading it already. And as for medieval times stuff I would suggest Demon Knights from DC. It's getting cancelled unfortunately, but you should still read it because it's awesome.

Thor is must have for me. I saw Demon Knight at Amazon, but i thought it would be dumb. Can't stand this Demon Guy, but if you say it is awesome i will give it a try.

DD and Shang Chi are both low- to mid-level bullet timers who can hold their own against metas like Spider-Man, but the 2nd and 3rd tier are virtually interchangeable, so trade DD for Batgirl if you must.

I'm reading X-Cutioner's Song right now. I'm having trouble getting the whole series right now. I'm missing issues 4, 6, 10, and 12 right now, but what I have read I love so far. It's a great series.

Also, I know Liefeld doesn't get much love here, but I really like his run on New Mutants/X-Force a lot.

LOVING Age of Apocalypse so far - It's like the comic book equivalent to 'The Stand'. Also, am REALLY thinking of checking out some of those Spider-Man 2099 TPB's out. I know they're probably gimmicky and out-dated but it seems pretty interesting. Anyone here read/have read the series (C'mon now, don't lie).

the end of age of ultron is utter shit. i spent $40 on this crap and it ended up being a shameless money grabbing vehicle to push a bunch of crap mini-series that i would imagine the majority of readers could care less about. if i would've known about legit marvel merging with ultimate marvel i definitely would have avoided aou. the ultimate books must be putting up bad numbers so aou was used to get more readers for it.

Anyone read Mignola and Golden's Baltimore in BOTH novel and comic form?
I loved the novel and it left me with chills. However the comic book is/was not up to par I think. Ben Stenbeck's art work just does not do it for me in this one.

Just bought Saga volume 2 (collecting #7-#12) tonight.
Next couple days are gonna be good!

i'm not a huge fan of spider-man, but as a kid i got quite a few spider-man comics, and the spider-man 2099 series was the only comic i ever subscribed to, and i read a lot of them. i don't remember much about it since i read it so long ago, and i only have a few issues left (wish i had them all), but i liked it a lot and feel a much, much greater affection for spider-man 2099 than regular old spider-man.

like i said, i can't give an insightful review, but i liked it a lot and i don't think it's too goofy or ridiculously 90's, like one might expect from the 2099 series.

Yeah, I hated the ending, especially to introduce series I'm not the least bit interested in.

Thor & Ultimate Spider-Man have been really good. Wolverine & the X-men too, really like the Broo, hope they bring his intelligence back.
