1 age of bronze
.

The series aims to be true to all literary traditions, from Homer's Iliad to Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida, as well as to the archaeology of the Bronze Age Aegean. When complete it is projected to comprise seven volumes.

Cerebus comes to the wealthy city-state of Iest as the representative of Lord Julius's city-state of Palnu. He quickly finds himself enmeshed in the fast-paced world of high finance and politics, and comic tension is built through his ignorance of the "high society" machinations going on around him.

3.SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATER

In this film noir-like series by writers Matt Wagner and Steven T. Seagle, Wesley Dodds (the Sandman) and his girlfriend Dian Belmont (daughter of the District Attorney) encountered several, often grotesque, foes in multi-issue storylines.

those my top talent recommendations for fans of painfully drawn out plots and slow paced and dialogue heavy stories

Question, what was the book people were talking about where it was Vampires vs zombies or like aristocratic vampires or something like that.

i just finished Destroyer MAX by robert kirkman and cory walker and it was a short but fun read. when i bought it at the shop the guy gave it to me at half price and said i shouldn't have to pay $20 dollars for it which was cool but also made me put off reading it for a while because he made it sound like crap. it was a fun simple story with a pretty original concept and lots of sweet hyper violence. if you are familiar with invincible i think you would dig this because it is from the same team and has the same energy.

speaking of invincible i finally got around to reading the first 3 tpbs and its pretty great.

i also read night of 1000 wolves and Terror inc. MAX both of which were pretty meh.

I'm going to burn through all of the 100 Bullets again.

So I received my copy of The Doom that Came to Gotham and I realized I got boned.

I thought I was buying a tpb of the 3 issues for $50. Nope. Each issue is $50.
I haven't spent that much money on a single issue in years.

Sorry Prod, I was seriously going to send this your way when I was finished.

Also, not finished with Fear Agents yet, but I'm loving it. I'll give a full review score tomorrow when I finish it.

wow just noticed Comicsalliance is back up, that's good news and since we were on the Thor love here's a cool pic by Steve Rude

Holy shitballs, this latest issue of Locke & Key got graphically violent fast.

Anung, just finished The Chained Coffin and Others. Awesome all around. Onto The Right Hand of Doom.

Hellboy easily has my favourite scenery and imagery in comics. I am bias though, dig that paranormal and occult stuff.

I'm stoked that your enjoying it. I'm going to refresh along with you.
