bummed to find Astro City isn't available online and my hardcopies are on the other side of the country

Ordered myself a birthday present - The Age of Apocalypse Omnibus. Looking forward to FINALLY reading this epic slab of mutant goodness.

dam I was gonna do that around my bday too, also I was gonna get Thor #1, Namor The Submariner #1, and possibly Teen Titans #1, all Vol. 1's originals

Anyone read the new All New X-Men? I still like it, but it really feels like Bendis has no idea what to do now with these characters.

I have no idea what I'm looking at, but I like it.

I think it's awesome. I hope that when they send the old x-men home they start a new book with the original X-men back in their time but with memories of the future. Their younger naive personalities are much more compelling than the jaded always at war all my friends are dead and I've killed untold hundreds of life forms present day teams

Bendis has said he has like 2-3 years worth of stories planned, im sure he knows where the title is going.

i feel the same way. it may have been a better idea to do it as a mini instead of an ongoing. alot of the novelty has worn off to me and it feels like a bendis talking head book now. i actually had it on my pull list and decided not to get it. same goes for uncanny. mutant books don't hold my interest very long.

i bought the fear agent omnibus but haven't opened it yet. i really liked remender's uncanny x-force, secret avengers, and uncanny avengers so i figured i'd go all out for fear agent. i also picked up 4 different covers for UBER #2 which i never do. i got the glory tpb and found issue #33 of prophet. now i'm only missing the elusive issue #27. :icon_sad:

p4p the best thing marvel is currently putting out. it makes all of aaron's other stuff seem kinda crap. he definitely found a character that his writing is suited to. esad ribic's pencils also add alot to the book.

Thor and Captain America is really the only Marvel NOW! stuff that I'm really loving a few of the other series are pretty OK though.

still on the fence with the new Hulk comic.

cap is a close 2nd to thor. i feel the same way about hulk. its not bad but it's bland and not very entertaining. i've been liking the last few issues of iron man more than the first arc. uncanny avengers is the only good avengers titled book imo.

I like the Indestructible Hulk I think its off to a pretty good start

Thor and Iron Man are the only two NOW titles I am buying currently. I still haven't made it through all the free number 1's Marvel gave away. So most of my current reading that's not DC are back issues.

Just finished Wolverine: Weapon X. Brilliant. Enjoy everything about it. Definitely one of my favorite comic reads. Thanks for the suggestions!

Even though I didn't suggest it.. you're welcome.

Which Marvel cosmic story is better: Annihilation or War of Kings? The premise for WoK intrigues me more than Annihilation. Will I be totally lost if I don't read Annihilation before WoK?
