I did tell you that Weapon X would be THE one to blow your mind, tho.
Thor Question:
Its well established that no one other than Thor can lift his hammer (save for Cap).
Related to Rob's Thor question, I've also wondered for years what if you just remove a small portion of the floor where Mjolnir is resting and just carry that floor portion.
Related; in the Ultimate Universe Magneto can carry the hammer. I assume this is just his manipulating it with his magnetic powers?
Wonder Woman can
Non-Canon cross over. Ugh that made me kind of mad when she did.
Those matchups were bogus.
Charm magic.
I think the original intent is no one can use Mjolnir except those who are worthy. Wherever the wielder sets it, there it will be. The hammer doesn't drop, it always returns unless there is a force stronger than the charm. Earth gravity is not one of those forces.
Applied to Dragon's theory, I'd like it if someone were to dig beneath the hammer, and discover the hammer would just float where it was. It wouldn't drop at all. Extrapolated onto some kind of story where Thor "goes away" for a while. I'd like him to do the Excalibur thing and position it in the middle of the sky, and there it would stay until Thor returned. Or someone else who was worthy enough to perform in Thor's stead.
Thorstead.

Aside from those stupid fan vote results (which regrettably is treated as canon to many), another disappointing part for me when I first read it was the mediocre art by Dan Jurgens. It's too bad Claudio Castellini couldn't have pencilled the entire series or at least gotten a better co-artist than Jurgens. But you could see around issue #3 that Claudio was getting tired and his artwork gradually suffered.
Which Marvel cosmic story is better: Annihilation or War of Kings? The premise for WoK intrigues me more than Annihilation. Will I be totally lost if I don't read Annihilation before WoK?

Theoretically, if he is in, I don't know, the SHIELD Helicarrier and puts his hammer on the ground would the helicarrier drop out of the sky? Didn't think happen in the Avengers?
If that wasn't the case, wouldn't you be able to lift the hammer with any kind of platform?
Don't know why this is crossing my mind right now.

Anyone else into the Valiant line of comics? I remember reading them back in the 90s. I started reading them again when it relaunched and the writing is excellent, even better than it was the first time around.
