Hmm I liked the overall tone more for Remender's Uncanny X-Force since it was a bit darker and serious. But that one arc where they go to that dimension with Captain Britain... yea, not a fan of that story. And the art was downright atrocious. Whereas Whedon's run didn't have a weak spot in it. Was solidly entertaining in every issue.
But they were both great, along with Morrison's. But would you or anyone else recommend Ultimate X-Men? I hear that the Ultimate comics are alright up until Ultimatum, which is a pile of shit apparently.
Ultimate X-Men is terrible. Terrible.
Ultimate Spider-Man is the best and most consistant Spider-Man (up to and including issue 160 ) and The Ultimates Vol. 1 & 2 are about as good as comics get.
