Agree. Deadpool is about the only title I kinda like. And I'm not sold on it.

I don't even understand All New All Different Marvel, it's the same stories b4 Secret Wars, where All New All Different Marvel was going someplace. (Ms. Marvel Khan was actually developing, and that comic isn't even aim'd at my age range) Then Secret Wars...

8 months later

Ok Secret Wars almost over? ok continue w/ the previous stories, but tweak a thing here and there. It doesn't help that All New All Different Marvel is a dumb format. This is where they want "seasons" and to recycle a new "#1" every year.

Why? why do this, this is like graduating Middle School every 2 years and starting over in 7th grade! no one wants this, except they want to "bank" on the fabled "new readers!"

No it's going to be horrible and it is horrible, b/c it already puts an artificial STOP to character growth.

Random Comic book writer: "hmm, this series gets rebooted in 3 issues, we'll i can't make drastic changes or editorial is gonna hamm me up, so i'll just stay with safe stories"

So far I've bougt every new #1 All New Marvel has published. I like buying the entire line of first issues and reading them to see which ones I might get monthly.

I really don't find any of it that great.

But I'm gonna stick with Doctor Strange, Iron man and Miles Morales Spider man

I miss the Bendis EraMarvel so much it isn't even funny.

Granted he's helming most of their big titles again but nothing beat the era where he was leading the direction of marvel.


But I can't complain because the Star Wars comics are kicking so much ass.

I don't usually speak nice of Marvel, but my friend gave me some Fantastic Four by Hickman, needless to say really enjoyable, Reed's daughter is a great character

Hickman's run of FF is what should have been the immediate lead in to Secret Wars, you can see the difference after Hickman leaves FF, FF is stuck in limbo for years being sucky FF again.

"oh no! i'm Sue, i'll bake a cake first!"

"oh no! i'm the Thing and i'm ugly, i'm also called THE THING!"

"oh no! i'm Johnny, i'm stupid and i fly, hey ugly the Thing, be my wingman!"

Oh the Future Foundation? lets... nah forget it, we can't create stories around it, lets just lock up these kids in Camp Android or whatever.

Hickman made the FF readable, for the first time in ever, when he left, it was back to 4 dumb idiots.

Hickman did a great job at setting the stage for a FF resurgence. Some really epic stuff, but then they killed Torch and it went a little too heavy into the Future Foundation and I bailed. Valeria is a great character, tho. Her and Doom's relationship was pretty awesome.

DC is where it's at right now. They have a bunch of good series and there is just so much to read.

These are just the ones I can think of. I would follow more but I only have so much money:icon_neut. I'll probably pick up the TPB of Robin:Son of Batman when it comes out.
