Marvel's Second Post-Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different" Teaser

allnewalldifferentmarvel-138579.jpeg

(Doctor?) Spectrum - It's been said that Spectrum had big things coming up after the Secret Wars event.

But is this the Monica Rambeau we know and love -- or someone else? It looks a lot like Dr. Spectrum from Earth-4290001's Great Society, a pastiche of DC's Justice League. Certainly with the importance of DC's Avengers analogues The Retaliators in The Multiversity by Grant Morrison, it wouldn't be beyond possibility for known Morrison fan Jonathan Hickman to bring something similar out of Secret Wars.

As Doctor Spectrum was left on Earth-616, she's the only survivor of hers, following its destruction at the hands of the Illuminati. So...maybe don't expect her to be particularly cozy with The Avengers or other teams that have members of that group on staff?

Citizen V - Again...is this "our" Citizen V? It's a legacy name and we can't know until we see where the story finds him whether it's actually John Watkins III. Or, if we're really lucky, it's Baron Zemo.

The Thing - Well, check out those fancy new duds on the ever-lovin', blue-eyed Thing. Looks like he's headed to space with the Guardians of the Galaxy following the fall of the Fantastic Four.

Rocket Rac**** - Here he is -- and he's flipping off the camera, the middle finger being censored, a bit like the "offensive gesture imminent" thing from the Guardians of the Galaxy movie trailer.

Karnak - The mystery hooded figure is Karnak - how he's back we'll have to find out.

Hyperion - This looks to me like the Planet X version of the character, although it's admittedly been a while, so it's possible that his main Marvel Universe counterpart has taken on a similar outfit and I just didn't realize it.

Inferno - He isn't the Human Torch as far as we can tell...but he's an Inhuman, as is Torch in the All-New, All-Different Marvel, according to rumors.

Medusa - The queen is one of the most important and recognizable of the Inhumans.

Shadowland Daredevil - Well, we assume that's Shadowland Daredevil, but it could very well be the standard Daredevil in new duds, since iron man has a new suit here, and The Thing did in the first teaser.

Iron Man - We'll skip too much real analysis here since we talked about him -- it's an identical image -- in the previous poster.

Wolverine II: Electric Bugaloo - While this might look like Wolverina from MC2, the two claws seem to confirm that the new Wolverine is X-23 in a wolverine costume.

Star-Lord - Along with Iron Man and Rocket, one of the only characters in the image who seems to be relatively unchanged.

Dr. Strange - Anybody have any idea as to just what that axe is? We're guessing it's important. Our best guess is that maybe it's the Bloodaxe, an Asgardian weapon once wielded by Thunderstrike, although as long as Thor Classic is also wielding an axe instead of Mjolnir, that might feel like too much of a good thing.

Old Man Logan - Taken from the pages of a popular alternate-reality story from the creative team behind Civil War, this appears to be the version of Logan we will get now that X-23 is wearing the Wolverine suit. It's a bold and unusual choice.

Post-Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe"

allnewalldifferentmarvel-138578.jpeg

Marvel Comics (via Mashable) has released the first official look at a "All-New, All-Different" Marvel Universe promo poster, post-Secret Wars.

The report indicates that Marvel will again renumber everything with new #1s, which isn't all that surprising a move given the recent history of Marvel's rebranding.

"We've been planning it for years," Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso told Mashable. "We realized that [Secret Wars] would be a game-changing moment that would allow us to create a big white canvas. It

Marvel's Second Post-Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different" Teaser Is a Bombshell

Here is the first post-Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different" lineup:

Yay. Another Marvel reboot that's "not a reboot"!! While I am enjoying SW, I'm really over all the change without really changing anything. Can we kill off all the Spider People that are not Miles Morales and Jessica Drew? I rather enjoyed a Peter Parkerless Ultimate Universe.

This would be the one thing I would hope they retain from MU1616. Other than that BS that concluded the Ultimate Spiderman run, death was usually permanent in the Ultimate U.

Only thing exciting me currently is Johns/Romita Superman run and Millar's Jupiter books.

That image has some cool characters on it.

How much cooler would it be if that picture was just a new team. All the different personalities and strange characters all on one team.

I'd enjoy that.

I've always been a huge marvel supporter and I don't wanna get carried away but I'm gonna be very picky about what monthly titles I read.

It's gonna be about the creative team more so than anything for me now. For instance I'll always read a Bendis monthly title. Or I'll pick up a title penciled by Jimmy Cheung

I guess inferno is the human torch stand in now.

Prod how could thst e en be a battle.

Isn't the anti monitor like a billion levels more powerful than darkseid

Yeah, head to head Anitmonitor is too much, so Darkseid is gonna battle him strategically and resourcefully

Darkseid can battle straight up for a while tho

I'm pretty pumped for earth 2 society to come out. I want to see how this version of dick grayson does as batman, plus his batsuit is pretty sweet!

Prod did u get the new Multiversity. The newest issue I got was plastic wrapped, it was the Pax Americana issue. Have u read this?

And In regards to DArkseid, I just do t see how he could hold his own against an Anti Monitor. Wouldn't that be like Thanos fighting a celestial or a being above it. I just don't see how he could do that.

Also Prod what is up with Batman right now, is he the new Metron. I so out of the loop with DC. I've pretty much stopped collecting DC altogether except for Multiversity and Green Lantern (but I trade wait for green lantern)

Also has anyone read Secret Wars issue 3 yet.

I have to admit the main series is pretty Fn awesome and with each issue questions are answered but 100 more question arise as well.

Issue 3 is EXCELLENT and IMO has been the best issue so far. We now know the heroes and villains from the 616 are out of their stasis chambers and on th loose in Battleworld and issue 3 has an awesome ending that just screams for the reader to pick up issue 4 when it drops.

I agree, issue 3 was the best so far. I can only imagine whats going to happen when the Thors confront Thanos and the Cabal. My only problem with the series is, I don't know the back story leading up to Secret Wars. Like what was happening before the series started. I have issue #0 that I picked up from free comic book day but it didn't explain much. Knowing the backstory would be fantastic. Im also curious to see what Cyclops/Phoenix is going to do there in battleworld. We only have 5 issues left so wrapping this up is going to be difficult, seems like they could probably do a 20 issue series with so much going on.

yeah according to the latest SW issue Johnny Storm is dead. Inferno is the new Inhuman. aka Dante's Inferno or whatever I'm guessing.

I'm enjoying the shit out of the SW issues.

the new X-Tinction Agenda remake is awesome too. that was my favorite arc when I was a kid.

Metron is still Metron, just got kicked off his chair. I'm not sure what's going on with Batman at the moment. Pax Americana was okay, I think that's the original Watchmen right? I finished the series and it was good, Captain Carrot is awesome he should have his own series again

Hey 22k

I don't think Johnny Storm is dead he was used as the
the sun for battleworld, which meant when the place was created it was illuminated differently

If you see some of the upcoming covers for future SW tie in issues and things that pertain to the SHIELD/Wall it looks as if the WALL itself is made from Ben Grimm THE THING. Which would also explain no version of him showing up yet in this story..

I haven't picked up the X-tinction Agenda tie in.. Im sticking with Old Man Logan, Infinity Gauntlet, Guardians of Knowhere and Planet Hulk. Im also gonna buy the first issue of Weirdworld and take it from there..

All of the tie-in's will be on the Marvel Unlimited app before I know it. So everything I miss ill read it all on there...

Also the last few issues of Star Wars and Darth Vader have still but top notch. These are some of my favorite titles Marvel is publishing at the moment...

Thanks for the info Prod...

Does Bats have any new powers while on the chair, well outside the power the chair already has.

And Prod Pax Americana is Watchmen-Esque.. I think its more like Morrisons homage to that story of sorts.

Bats is not on Metron's chair, I'm not sure what's going on with Bruce

I'm interested in reading We are....Robin title, seems interesting
