After Bucky came back from the dead only one truth remains in comics: it's high past time to cancel SILVER SURFER.

Pft, this is the only time I've had any interest in SS.

..but I wouldn't be reading it if it wasn't for Allred's involvement.

Mike Allred is a great guy. In the late 90s he featured in a few no-budget indy projects that aren't worth the effort to track down. I was a little disappointed someone of his enormous talent was given a loser like SILVER SURFER. Surfer is a great character and a heady mythos but for some reason the title never sells well enough to support itself for too long.

Planet Hulk came out this week under the Battleworld banner.

I'll be collecting this title. So far so good. I think others will like this a lot as well

how is the new secret wars. haven't had a chance to read mine yet? worth it?

Can't believe DC killed off McGinnis to make a Batman Beyond series with Tim Drake. I love Tim Drake (probably my favorite Robin) but this was a horrible decision. I hope the series flops hard.

So far the first five issues of RAGNAROK have been wonderful. Classic Simonson storytelling. Weird seeing Thor like this, but awesome at the same time.

Anyone read the 68' Nam Zombie series?

I saw there booth at Phoenix Comic Con and it got me interested.

Has anyone read Alan Moore's Tom Strong series? I've been thinking about getting into it.

My favorite issue is the one with the interdimensional Aztecs.

Lots of classic science hero ideas, a la Doc Savage. Moore and Chris Sprouse together did the Silver Age analog of Superman in SUPREME. It seems a little "progressive" for progressive's sake but Moore was firing on all cylinders when he made his mainstream resurgence. TOP 10. PROMETHEA. Good times.

I'm sticking with Secret Wars the main series but I must confess this is the least interested I've been into Marvel in over 10+ years.

I'm enjoying it but have no special feeling for it like when House Of M and Civil War came out.

Did you buy Darth Vader #6 yet? I'm still on #4 but I'm buying #5 and #6 tomorrow. The series is good.

Post-Secret Wars "All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe"

Marvel Comics (via Mashable) has released the first official look at a "All-New, All-Different" Marvel Universe promo poster, post-Secret Wars.

The report indicates that Marvel will again renumber everything with new #1s, which isn't all that surprising a move given the recent history of Marvel's rebranding.

"We've been planning it for years," Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso told Mashable. "We realized that [Secret Wars] would be a game-changing moment that would allow us to create a big white canvas. It

Marvel Teases All-New, Controversial Hulk And The Return Of Wolverine

Marvel dropped a bombshell tonight by announcing they are rebooting all their titles to Issue #1 after Secret Wars. Included in the announcement was a tease of a major change to the Hulk and confirmation of the return of Wolverine to the Marvel Universe.

Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso has some very interesting things to say about Hulk across several media outlets, which we've compiled below.

In an interview with Mashable, Alonso teased, "The all-new Hulk ... this character is certain to cause debate. The same people who went crazy with female Thor will have a field day with this one."

In an interview with EW, Alonso said, "I

I like how DC catches all this shit for rebooting their universe approximately twice and Marvel never catches any shit for CONSTANTLY rebooting all of their titles simply because more morons will pay for new number 1 issues.
