Does anyone think that Absolon Mercator will ever re-emerge? I felt he was such an interesting character and could have played a much larger role in the marvel universe post M Day.

damn! Yeah, we had a booth in artist alley. that con was huge. Benson Henderson stopped by our booth. His wife picked up a tee. He said it was his first con and it felt weird even though he was enjoying it. He said he reads comics but not hardcore.

If we go next year, we should definitely meetup. the locals were really friendly and helpful.

Did you buy Darth Vader #6 yet? I'm still on #4 but I'm buying #5 and #6 tomorrow. The series is good.

I haven't picked issue 6 yet but I'll be sticking with the Star Wars related titles at marvel.

Vader has been awesome since it dropped months back

I like how DC catches all this shit for rebooting their universe approximately twice and Marvel never catches any shit for CONSTANTLY rebooting all of their titles simply because more morons will pay for new number 1 issues.

A reboot is different than what Ur talking about.

The Axel Alonso era of Marvel is shit compared to when Joe Quesada was running the show.

It's all about PC bullshit shoved down the readers throats. take all established white male characters and shit on them by making them women or minorities.

It's garbage.

And FYI the new falcon cap sucks compared to say Ed Brubakers legendary captain America run.

I definitely will. The way the con was set up was confusing. You had to make about 10 u turns to see all the artists. Rafael Albuquerque was one aisle down from us and no one was really at his booth because of the confusion. It was random how people ended up at the booths.

Art Adams was literally the furthest artist from the entrance. I wanted to tell him I blame him for Nick Bradshaw, but I let it slide.

Ya I'm feeling this way. Take old established characters and transplant minorities or women In their place just because.

Stupidity.

I like captain America because Steve Rogers, I like iron man because tony stark, etc etc etc.

I don't care if they create 100 new characters and they're all women and minorities. Just don't touch the characters that were already there. Pure laziness and bowing down to everything PC.


I'll just re read through the Bendis/quesada years again. Alonso Fn sucks compared to Joe Q who legit rebuilt marvel.
