Just read that Silver Surfer will be cancelled and it's last story arc starts in June. Onward to Image, Allred! GOOO GOO GOOOOOOO

Coming up will be the first time I've bought possibly zero Marvel (X-Men/Force/Factor) titles. I just can't get into what they have going on right now. Now I gotta get rid of some of the recent Marvel titles I've been reading before they're cancelled and nobody wants them.. That and so I can make room for all the Image and other indie shit I'm reading now.

Black Science and Saga are outstanding. Rat Queens, Copperhead, East of West, Trees, Bedlam, Archie Vs Predator, and more are great. About to get crackin' on Pisces, Chrononauts, Descender, Invisible Republic, Red One, Injection, and The Fox.

It's just weird that the really good shit isn't at Marvel, much less X-books.

That sounds like a play. Early Bendis was little more than talking heads, so maybe you want to check it out. Back then Bendis was a bit more transparent with the stories he swiped.

Bats took down the Justice League. Only to get besmirched by Joker. Big ass rock fell on them as they were fighting. Now they're dead..until they'll come back in about a year or so.

That sounds like a play. Early Bendis was little more than talking heads, so maybe you want to check it out. Back then Bendis was a bit more transparent with the stories he swiped.

That's an interesting thought. The idea might actually work better as a sort of odd couple stage play, yeah... a dark comedy.

I'll have to toss that around in my head now.

Did read Batman Earth 1 Vol 2 today. If you read the first volume and didn't like it then don't read this. This Batman didn't undergo the training he did in the more common timelines here he more the crazy rich guy looking to do good so he goes out to fight crime. It's more Kick-Ass than normal Batman. Killer Croc was the hero of this volume as Harvey Bullock was for volume 1.

Nice, I'm nearly done with it. There's a lot going on, Im pretty new to Marvel.
I am reading Scott Snyder's Batman (New 52) as well. Best series out there imo
